Youth Ministry
MISSION TRIP FORMS & DEPOSIT OF $75 WERE DUE
LAST WEEK - HAVE YOU SIGNED UP YET?!
We wanna see you this summer in AUSTIN!
Adults going on the trip can fill out the same forms and return to
youth directors.
UMYF - Sunday 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
March 20 - NO UMYF because of Spring Break
March 27 - NO UMYF because of Easter
Wildcard Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

If you get to Sunday school early (or any youth event) - feel free to
hang out all together in the Youthatory (from the “Latin” for the place between youth activities...or maybe that's not real...but that's
what we called it) or room 123. Please say THANK YOU to our
Trustees for helping us get our fancy closet so we can now fully enjoy this room. Help us by keeping it clean and taking care of it :)
OTHER UPCOMING CHURCH / COMMUNITY EVENT: Do you know of anything? We are always looking for ways to plug
in to the church and community.
Mission Trip: June 19th - 24th (It’s now official! Deposits were
due March 6) please bring it to church in the am and drop it off in
our office.
Saturday June 18th - MANDATORY Mission Tr ip Meeting: we
will reveal teams, load vans, go over rules and there are no excused
absences. We will be leaving later on Sunday, so you can celebrate
Father's Day, but it means we MUST have EVERYONE (ADULTS
TOO!) ATTEND on SATURDAY
Easter Sunday: March 27th
Ulster Project is looking for 9th and 10th grade boys (talk to
Kathleen Moore for more info)
Still interested in helping with Upward? There are always ways
to help. Let us know and we will get you in contact with the right
person.
Adult Volunteer Opportunities We are in need of volunteers. If you are interested in getting

Youth The youth is looking for once a month host homes for our Wednesday night small groups. Call or text Kelli 682-553-5565 or email us at [email protected] for info on signing up. You do not need to have prior youth experience or a child in youth to do this.

Holy Week
Palm Sunday - March 20 8:30, *9:45 & *11:00 am services
*Children will wave palms in the sanctuary.
12:00 pm Children’s Easter Egg Hunt & Picnic
Children ages toddler through 5th grade are invited.
Maundy Thursday - March 24 Our Maundy Thursday service is March 24th and will be
different from years past. You can learn more about the
upcoming service by clicking here.
Good Friday - March 25 Service at 7:00 pm
Easter - March 27 Services at:
7:00 am (outdoor sunrise service),
8:30 am - Traditional Service
9:45 am Blended with children singing
11:00 am - Contemporary
Easter Cantata - April 3 8:30, 9:45 & 11:00 a.m. services
SJA’s choir will present the Easter story through music
and singing.
Palm Sunday - This Sunday! All children are invited to Join us after the 12 o'clock service on
Sunday for a sandwich lunch then the BIG Easter Egg Hunt.
Don't forget to bring a basket. Also, please help by donating
individual sandwiches, chips, and cookies. (No peanut products
please!)
Easter Sunday - March 27 Easter Sunday the children will be performing at 9:45, you don't
want to miss this. The kids have been working so hard!
Just a reminder: No Sunday school on Easter, only the nursery will
be open through 5 years old.
VBS Registration Coming Soon! Starting March 27 you can sign your kiddos up for Vacation Bible
School! The registration forms will be located in the hallway and
online, please fill out completely.
Looking for Future VBS Volunteers We are also looking for some volunteers to come and enjoy an
amazing week with all the kids. Volunteer forms will be located in
the hallway along side the registration forms.
Sunday Morning for Kids Kids' Connection (9:45 a.m.) Children's Worship for K-5th grade.
We begin with worship in the Sanctuary then transition after the
Children's Message to the backroom.
Adventure Zone (11:00 a.m.) Rotation based classes for ages 3
(since last Sept 1) through 5th grade. We meet in room 127 then
break into groups for Bible study, craft, and games.
Sunday Opportunities
Time for the Children’s Picnic & Easter Egg Hunt!! This Sunday is Palm Sunday. All children and their families are
invited to join us for a potluck sandwich lunch then participate in
our BIG Easter egg hunt!
Please bring the following items to share for the lunch: sandwiches,
individual bags of chips, and cookies. (No peanut products please!)
Last Sunday to Order Easter Lilies! We are taking orders for Easter lilies to remember a loved one or
honor someone special in your life. Envelopes are located in the
hallway and forms are in the Attendance pads. Each lily is $10 each
and will be used to decorate the chancel for Easter. Complete the
form/envelope and drop it in the offering plate if you wish to
purchase a lily/lilies.
Merry Mixers Open to all adults that meet for a potluck dinner, games and
fellowship. Please bring a potluck item to share. We would like to
have enough for everyone. Join the fun on March 22, at 6:30 p.m. in
room 127. For questions, call Diane Grossman at 817-784-0005.
SJA Singles Open to all Single Adults Come join us for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. in room 152.
March 19th An evening of therapeutic color ing at Kathy's home,
6:30 p.m. Bring an appetizer to share, your favorite beverage and
extra coloring pens if you have some. Contact Prissy for the address.
March 24th-27th Easter Worship Events

We would like to thank the church for loving and supporting us over the last 5 years during
Taylor’s battle with colon cancer. She loved this church with all of her heart.

Kids Against Hunger SJA Packing Event Saturday, April 9th is SJA’s own KAH packing event
sponsored by the Men’s Fire Pit. Please volunteer! Look for sign-up
sheets in the hallway on Sunday or click here to sign up on-line.
Start times will be 9:00 a.m.,10:30 a.m., and 12:00 p.m. Childcare
will be available at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Dear SJA Friends,
SJA has a new outreach opportunity. For my Girl Scout Gold
award, I am building a Little Free Library in the field that also hosts the pumpkin patch. The library will have a simple “take a book,
leave a book” policy, but I need books to begin with. As a part of
this project I am asking for donations of new or gently used family-friendly books. I will have a box for donations in the fellowship
hallway for the next few weeks.
