SACRISTAN AND EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS: If you are willing to serve funerals, pleasecontacttheparishofficesowecanaddyoutothelist.

LEGION OF MARY: If you would like to increase your faith and grow closer to Jesus through Mary, you may be interested in joining the Legion of Mary. “The Legion aims to bring Mary to the world as the infallible means of winning the world to Jesus.” (Legion handbook, p. 25). This is done in different ways, such as performing works of mercy that include visiting the homebound, visiting the sick in the hospitals or nursing homes and attending weekly meetings. How to join the Legion: There are two types of membership statuses. One is the Active Membership. Active members attend weekly meetings, learn about the Catholic faith through reading the Legion Handbook, and performing different works of mercy which can include visiting the homebound or visiting the sick in the hospitals or nursing homes and bringing the Blessed Sacrament. Often, the sick person receiving the Blessed Sacrament demonstrates an increased appreciation for the gift of the Eucharist, that results in an increase in our faith and love of the Lord. The second type of Legion membership is Auxiliary Membership. If you are unable to join as an active member, you can still join in the works of the Legion of Mary by becoming an Auxiliary Member. Auxiliary Members support the Legion by a commitment to daily recitation of the Holy Rosary and Legion prayers (Tessera). To learn more about active membership, please feel free to check out the weekly meetings that are held in the Bride’s Room on Thursday mornings at 8:45 a.m. or contact Roberta Elliott at 440-991-61778 or Elena Decipeda at 770-377-5938.

LADIES OF THE PARISH: Come join other amazing women in our parish, as Jim Hogan leads us to a deeper understanding of Scripture in an amusing and engaging way. We meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Music Room. You can jump in at any time – it’s FUN!! Contact Lori LoGerfo at [email protected] if you have any questions.

MEN OF THE PARISH: Join Jim Hogan each Monday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Music Room for a fast-paced discussion of scripture, and anything and everything else that is on your mind! The insights are great, and the conversation is fantastic as we follow the chance to explore our faith.

DO YOU NEED PRAYER? The Heart of Jesus Prayer Ministry offers intercessory prayer sessions for all prayer needs, including physical, emotional and spiritual prayer. Please contact Sue White at 440-213-9242 to schedule a session. You may also request a prayer session on the ministry’s site: heartofjesus.net.

FIRST SATURDAY ROSARY: Our Blessed Mother explained to Sister Lucia, one of the Fatima visionaries, that she would like prayers to make reparation on the First Saturday of the month for FIVE successive months. Join us on July 6th to celebrate First Saturday by saying the Rosary after Mass. To those who faithfully follow Our Lady’s requests for the Five First Saturdays, she has made a wonderful promise whichshe,asMediatrixofAllGraces, willcertainlyfulfill:“Ipromiseto assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation.” This means that our Blessed Mother will be present at the hour of death withtheactualgraceoffinalperseverance,(whichafterthegift/graceofFaith), is the most important grace.
