Each October the Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life
Month. As Catholics, we are called to cherish, defend, and protect those
who are most vulnerable, from the beginning of life to its end, and at every
point in between. During the month of October, the Church asks us to
re#ect more deeply on the dignity of every human life.
GENSIS COLLECTION AT ST. JOSEPH
OCTOBER 19TH AND 20TH
Members of the Christian Mothers and other volunteers will be outside
the church doors this weekend, October 19-20 after all the Masses at
St. Joseph collecting donations for Genesis of Pittsburgh Inc. This pro-life
organization helps women facing an unplanned pregnancy choose life for
their unborn children. They offer free counseling, practical help,
affordable adoption services, temporary shelter and future planning for all who call upon them. Any help
you can give them in their fund drive is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your continued support.
