Teachers are needed for both the summer and school year programs. Knights of Columbus at the

Culture of Life Mass

Sunday, February 12th, at 10:00 AM

Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption 327 Second St., Fall River, MA

Rte. 195 West, Exit 7

Presider - Most Rev. Edgar da Cunha, S.D.V. Bishop of Fall River

The Knights of Columbus has been a leader in the pro-life move-ment for over 40 years and is an organization dedicated to build-ing a culture of life in our communities. Our faith tells us that all human life is sacred. We are God’s most precious creation. Let us come together in the celebration of the Holy Mass, in prayer that all may embrace this precious gift of life.

Vivat Jesus!

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS - meets in the church hall on the 1st & 3rd Wed. of each month. We are an organization of Catholic men committed to living the faith and serving our community. Please consider joining us. Speak to a Knight member of the parish or ask for a membership application at the parish office. We wel-come you and we need you. Vivat Jesus!

PRAYER INTENTION BOOK – is located on a stand by the Divine Mercy image at the side door of the church for anyone wishing to write their prayer intentions. All are encouraged to pray for the intentions in this book as a means of support and intercession for those in need of God’s help and in thanksgiving for blessings received.

Congratulations to the 145 Plymouth High School Seniors who are the recipients of the 2017 John and Abigail Adams Scholarship. This scholarship qualifies

these students to receive tuition waivers to state colleges and univer-sities based on their performance on the Grade 10 MCAS test. What makes this even more extraordinary is that of those 145 stu-dents from both Plymouth North and Plymouth South High Schools, 59 students or 41%, are also students here at St. Bonaven-ture Parish! Well done Seniors, and may God Bless you as you con-tinue your studies!

Thank you to all who attended the Fund “Fore” the Needy Golf Classic kick-off meeting this week. There is still a need for additional volunteers. If you are interested in being a part of a great team where results directly impact those in our commu-

nity in need of assistance, please contact Heidi Law at 508-224-3636, Ext. 125 or [email protected] for details. The Golf Clas-sic is the only fundraiser the Fund for the Needy holds each year. One hundred percent of the funds raised go to its mission to pro-vide assistance to those in need in our community. Without the volunteers, this event would not be possible. Thank you for consid-ering helping at this event!

GIFTS OF BREAD & WINE – presented at each Sunday Mass may be brought up by family members of the deceased for whom the Mass is being offered. Just notify one of the ushers at the front door of church before Mass that two members of your family would like to do this.
