week’s Maths is to practice column addition
which we looked at earlier in the year.

Make sure that you show your working out and
use the correct methods that we have looked
at.
Once you have had a go at them, look at the
answers and correct any that you need to,
figuring out where the mistake was. Have fun!

What do we need instructions for? Write a list of
activities that need instructions.

Can you find 5 or more activities that need written

Weds: Follow Instructions
Find a set of instructions that you can follow at
home. How clear are they? Can you identify the
features? Try something new -

Write up your findings, focusing on the questions below:
What are the plate tectonics?
What is Continental Drift?

What happens at a Transform Boundary?
Any interesting facts?
Science:
Over the next few weeks we will be looking at
different people who had a significant impact on
our understanding of electricity today.
Make a factfile on the following: focusing on how
they contributed to the science behind electricity

Nikola Tesla
Art:
Draw pictures of the different tectonic plates and
the different movements that happen there
Write a short paragraph to evaluate the instructions
you use.
Thurs: Writing Instructions
Write a set of instructions for somebody in your
house or your teacher to follow.
For example -
Playing a game
Using a piece of equipment
Building a Lego model
A recipe
Send a photo to the blog of your instructions or
somebody following them.
Friday: Writing Instructions
Write a set of instructions as a ‘Survival guide’ e.g.
How to survive . . .

living in space
Can you create a little book with your instructions?
Reading:
