TRANSCRIPT
Friends,
This Wednesday the Bishop will join us for the celebration
of Confirmation. 48 young people will receive a fuller out-
pouring of the Holy Spirit. May that Spirit guide them
throughout life’s journey. Amen.
Thanks for the catechists who have prepared them for this
day, especially Ms. Melissa Hill, our DRE.
Next Sunday is the big day for our parish. It is our annual
Eucharistic procession, Corpus Christi. While the actual feast
of Corpus Christi isn’t until June, we anticipate it so that we
celebrate our Eucharistic Procession while school is still in
session.
The Mass begins with a Solemn Mass at the Grotto-both in
English and Spanish. We will stop at the traditional 5 altars
along the way, for Eucharistic Benediction. We conclude at
the grotto and have a picnic lunch in the parish hall while we
award the recipients of the Pillar of the Parish Award.
The 2015 Award Nominees are:
Margaret Beener, Saul Ceballos, Kay Costanzo, David and
Donna Haney, Bill and Julie Konkol, David Miller, Charlotte
Palmer and Sally Smith.
Congratulations! Plan to join us especially for our proces-
sion.
God Bless.

Dear families,
As my second year as Director of Religious Education comes to a close,
I am filled with gratitude for all those who make our PRE program such
a success. The following people have been Catechists in our program
this year: Donice Cariglino, Anthony Caligiuri, Madeline Jannes, Coleen
Swisher, Mis Senecaut, Lana Fogue, Pam Moore, Elizabeth Stein-
bacher, Carmella Shaw, Jimmy Garcia, Ryan Russell, and Gina Vi-
vone. My assistant was Makayla Senecaut, who also leads the Chil-
dren’s Liturgy on Sunday mornings at 11:30. Catechist Assistants were
Jayden Senecaut, Tenille Hamilton, Perla Murillo, Mariarlet Flores, and
James Andrews. Thank you to the parents who are committed to the
formation of their children, and continue to allow us the honor and joy
of being part of their lives. A special thank you to Eduardo Duran and
Diana Balmeceda, for their dedication in ministry to our Hispanic fami-
lies.
If you have children from K-8 who do not attend Catholic School, please
consider registering them for PRE here at St. Anthony. We have a solid,
faithful program and I personally guarantee you will be satisfied with
the education your children will receive. We will continue to meet on
Sunday mornings for the 2015-16 school year, from 9:45-11:15. If you
have any questions at all, please call me. I will be available to register
people after Masses during the last two weeks in May, and you can do
so all summer in our office or online. The 20115-16 registration form
can be found on our website.
If you have a child going into 9th or 10th grade, watch for details on our
2015-16 Confirmation program. Registration will begin the last two
weekends of May and will continue all summer. We will also be forming
a Youth Ministry program for all high schoolers!
Totus Tuus is back at St. Anthony! Our summer program will be July 10-
24th, and registration will begin – you guessed it – after Masses on the
last two weekends of May.
Thank you again, for allowing me the opportunity to work with your chil-
dren. I really can’t imagine a better job or a better place to work.
God’s blessings,
Melissa Hill
