Dear Sisters and Brothers, This past Friday we already started the Novena to St. Anne. Our Patroness is the best that we can have. Who is more in love with the kids if not Grandparents? Their love is already so tested by time and experience of love for their own kids. It is already totally dedramatized, understanding and forgiving. What people feel when falling in love, and seeing everything in rose colors, so Grandparents love for grandchildren can be compared to.

Since they are not responsible for every moment of taking care for grandchildren, the Grandparents are more relaxed, and easy, ready to help and simply to enjoy grandchildren. Their love seems to be so spontaneous, innocent, totally genuine and without limits. This is why it’s so heart breaking, when we hear the parents and Grandparents, speak about their children and youth, being killed on the streets by violence and casual shooters, who kill innocent kids. It’s unacceptable. It destroys innocent lives, before they even had a chance to live their lives. Imagine the impact of that violence on the parents and Grandparents, who cherished and love those kids, and then, they are stripped from their lives? Hard to believe, that in our free country, someone may loose life in such a senseless way. Imagine that love of St. Anne and Joachim towards Jesus. They must have been enlightened, to see their dreams come true in seeing their Grandson. Even after initial trouble with Mary’s young pregnancy, I am sure they forgot quickly over it, after St. Joseph stood up to the plate. Imagine their dreams of grandchildren to come true, and seeing all God’s promises to come true. More then anybody, they were amazed at all, that was happening around and in their family. Their dreams, were one with God’s promises. Isn’t that great!!! So it is for us, we have those great Patrons, and their prayers and dreams for us are one with God’s promises!!! Who can have such clarity of vision, as to dream of what God promises to them ??? To dream of God’s will, to be done on earth as it is in heaven ??? It seems as Jesus’ prayer!!! Do all saints know how to pray for God’s will to be done ??? Is it difficult to pray for God’s will??? Is it difficult to know it ??? Is it difficult to fulfill God’s will??? Imagine, to be so synchronized with God’s will, as to dream of it, and be able to do it everyday. It must be quite fulfilling and satisfying. But is it possible for us normal people, or is it only for the saints ??? As for us, is it possible to strive to know God’s will, and is it possible, that we try to make it happen daily??? Sure it is. We can do it as much as we can, we just need to give it a try daily. We can ask ourselves daily: Lord what is it, that you want me to do today??? Then, listen to what God says in the depth of your heart, and then - do it !!! Seems simple!!! And actually it is simple!!! We just need to do it. On discovering God’s will, the whole Bible is to help us to find guidance. Just read it, and you will be well prepared to know, and to do, what the Lord will tell you. For St. Anne and Joachim it seemed simple. As Jesus’ Grandparents they just dreamed about it, as all Grandparents dream for their grandchildren. Don’t wait, join the dreamers with St. Anne- pray the Novena- and your holy dreams and prayers will come true for you and your grandchildren. God bless everyone always !!! Fr. Stan

Queridas Hermanas y Hermanos. El Viernes pasado comenzamos la Novena a Sta. Ana. Nuestra Patrona es lo mejor que podemos tener. ¿Quién esta mas enamorado de los niños si no los Abuelos? Su amor ya ha sido probado por el tiempo y la expe-riencia de amor por sus propios hijos. Ya esta totalmente desdramatiza-do, entendiendo y perdonando. Lo que la gente siente al enamorarse y ver todos de color rosa, por lo que los Abuelos aman a los nietos. Como no son responsables de cada momento de cuidar a los nietos, los Abuelos están mas relajados y fáciles, están listos para ayudar y simplemente

disfrutar de los nietos. Su amor parece ser tan espontaneo, inocente, totalmente genuino y sin limites. Es por eso que es tan desgarrador, cuando escuchamos a los padres y Abuelos hablar de sus hijos y jóvenes, que han sido asesinados en la calle por la violencia y tiradores casuales, que matan a niños inocentes. Es inaceptable destruir vidas inocentes, incluso antes de que tuvieran un cambio para vivir sus vidas. ¿Imagina el impacto de esa violencia en los padre y Abuelos, que apreciaban y amaban a esos niños, y luego, están atados de sus vidas? Difícil de creer, que nuestro país que es libre, alguien puede perder la vida de una manera tan insensata. Imagina ese amor de Santa Ana y Joaquín hacia Jesús. Deben haberse iluminado al ver sus sueños realidad hecho realidad de ver a su nieto. Incluso después de los problemas iniciales con el embarazo tan tem-prano de María, estoy seguro de que se olvidaron rápidamente de esto, después de que San José enfrento la situación. Imagine que sus sueños de tener nietos se hagan realidad, y ver todas las promesas de Dios hacerse realidad. Mas que nadie, estaban asombrados de todo lo que estaba sucediendo alrededor y en sus familia. Sus sueños eran uno con la promesas de Dios. ¡No es genial! ¡Así que es para nosotros, tenemos estos grandes Patronos, y sus oraciones y desamores por nosotros son uno con las promesas de Dios! ¿Quién puede tener tanta claridad de visión, como soñar con los que Dios les promete? ¿Soñar con la voluntad de Dios, hacerse en la tierra como en el cielo? Parece como el orador de Jesús! ¿Todos los santos saben como orar para que se haga la voluntad de Dios? ¿Es difícil orar por la voluntad de Dios? ¿Es difícil saberlo? ¿Es difícil cumplir la voluntad de Dios? Imagínese, estar tan sincronizado con la voluntad de Dios, como soñar con ella, y poder hacerlo todos los días. Debe ser bastante satisfactorio y tener vida plena. ¿Pero es posible que nosotros personas normales, o es solo para los santos? En cuanto a nosotros, ¿es posible esforzarse por conocer la voluntad de Dios, y es po-sible, que intentemos que suceda a diario? Claro que lo es. Podemos hacerlo tanto como podemos, solo tenemos que intentarlo a diario. Podemos preguntarnos diariamente: Señor, ¿Qué es lo que quieres que haga hoy? Luego, escucha lo que Dios dice en el fondo de tu corazón , ¡y hazlo! Parece simple!!! ¡Y en realidad es simple! Solo tenemos que hacerlo. Al descubrir la voluntad de Dios, toda la Biblia es para ayudarnos a encontrar orientación. Solo léala, y estará bien preparado para saber y hacer lo que el Señor le dirá. Para Sta. Ana y Joaquín parecía simple. Como los abuelos de Jesús, solo soñaban con eso, ya que todos los abuelos sueñan con sus nietos. No esperes, únete a los soñadores y Santa Ana, reza la Novena, y tus santos sueños y oraciones se harán realidad para ti y tus nietos. Dios les bendiga a todos siempre! P. Stan

ACTE DE COMMUNION SPIRITUELLE

« Seigneur Jésus, je crois fermement que Tu es présent dans le Saint Sacrement de l’Eucharistie. Je T’aime plus que tout et je Te désire de toute mon âme.

« Après toi languit ma chair comme une terre assoiffée » (psaume 62)

Je voudrais Te recevoir aujourd’hui avec tout l’amour de la Vierge Marie, avec la joie et la ferveur des saints.

Puisque je suis empêché de Te recevoir sacramentellement, viens au moins

spirituellement visiter mon âme.

Laisse-les pousser ensemble jusqu’ a la moisson (Mt13, 24-43)

La mauvaise herbe traduit un mot grec adopté par notre vocabulaire : la ‘zizanie’, la désunion, le désaccord. Jésus insiste sur le risque encouru par la récolte, si l’on cherche à arracher cette mauvaise

herbe pendant la croissance du blé. La différence entre l’un et l’autre ne devient évidente qu’au moment de la moisson. Il n’appartient

donc pas aux hommes de déterminer qui est la mauvaise graine et qui est de la bonne. Dieu s’en occupera au moment voulu ! Pour le

moment le Royaume est proposé a tous, sans distinction.

Dans la Bible le levain est souvent considéré comme un élément négatif, car il provient d’une fermentation (16,5 ; 1Cor 5, 6-8). Ici, il évoque plutôt le dynamisme du Royaume enfoui au cœur de l’huma-

nité et capable de la transformer.

L’histoire humaine est un mélange inextricable de bien et de mal. Il est prématuré de chercher à extirper la mauvaise herbe. Les meilleurs

donneurs de leçon ne sont pas sans défaut et les pires vauriens peuvent s’ouvrir au changement. Le jugement n’est pas du ressort

des humains mais du Fils de l’homme : il l’accomplira de façon juste

car il connait le cœur et la pensée de chacun

Mt 13,24-43 DOMINGO XVI DEL TIEMPO ORDINARIO

En los vv. 34-35 dice: “Todas estas cosas dijo Jesús en parábolas a la muchedumbre, y no les

hablaba nada sin parábolas, para que se cumpliera el anuncio del profeta: ‘Abriré en parábo-

las mi boca, declararé las cosas ocultas desde la creación”. Hablar en parábolas es un

“método” de enseñanza que intenta comunicar una “verdad profunda”, de la misma manera

que nuestros abuelos hablaban con “dichos y refranes”.

El relato de hoy comienza haciendo referencia al hecho que un ‘enemigo puso cizaña donde

antes solo había trigo’, se podría dar una explicación “inmediata”, por ejemplo, hablar del

fraude ‘económico’ en un negocio causado por uno al que se consideraba buen empleado;

también se puede referir a un momento “a largo plazo”, S. Juan de la Cruz dijo: “Al atardecer

de la vida seremos examinados en el amor”, y por tanto al Juicio Final (cf. Mt 25, 31-46).

Volviendo a los “dichos y refranes” de nuestros abuelos, a esa sabiduría popular a la cual

muchas veces no prestamos atención: “La paciencia es un árbol de raíz amarga, pero de

frutos muy dulces”, a esto precisamente está invitando Jesús, a la “paciencia”, cuantas veces

“no vemos la nuestra en una situación”, lo mismo parece sugerir el hecho de la angustia de

un sembrador que vio alterado su esfuerzo, la de cualquier creyente que siente confusión en

su vida, la de tantos que en tiempo de pandemia “ven crecer cizaña junto con el trigo

sembrado”.
