Experiment list:• SSU1: No ssu, only n14• SSU2: ssu 2 channels on, only n14• SSU3: ssu 3 channels on, only n14• SSU4: no ssu, amsu on, n14, n15 and n16 on.

• SSU31: same as SSU3 except for no bias correct to ssu chn3, without extra layer in CRTM

• SSU41: same as SSU4 except for chn14 on and no bias correct to it.new CRTM coeff

All experiments were run from 2002050100 to 2002113018. The first 3 month is the satellite bias correction spin up period. The results between 2002080100 to 2002113018 can be used for ssu data impact evaluation.

Both experiments were run from 1998080100 to 1998123118. The first 1 month is for satellite bias correction spin up. The results between Sep and Dec. 1998 can be used to evaluate SSU/AMSU transition jump.

• PR5SN: same as PR5S except for new B and bug fixed GSI.

SBUV/2 ozone flag 1 data

The Flag 1 means the satellite has the solar zenith angle larger than 84 degree. This data becomes important when observing the ozone hole forming.

Experiments:
