Trees, a beach, mountains, a lake, houses, what about some boats and sharks in the sea? You could write some clues about how to get to the treasure! Choose Phase 2 and revise all the sounds. Read the word on the coin and decide whether it is a real word (that goes in the treasure chest) or a fake word (that goes in the bin). Count the different pirate objects. Count them slowly and point to the correct number from below. Can you write that number on a piece of paper?

Watch the story called ‘Pirates love underpants.’

Go on a Cosmic Kids pirate adventure using the following link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_0P5grVoygWhere did you go, what did you see? Make sure you watch carefully and follow the moves so you don’t get left behind!

Make a pirate boat using a yogurt pot or milk carton and some paper and card. Can you make it stay on top of the water? What happens if the boat gets a hole?

Remember that you can send photographs of your learning to [email protected] teachers love to see how busy you are learning and having fun at home!

Extra Challenge! With a family member, can you make a life size pirate boat that you can fit in using a big cardboard box?We would love to see your creations. Don’t forget to send your pictures to the office email address.

Note from your teacher… Miss Curley has been spending lots of time thinking of all these fun and exciting activites and hopes you are enjoy them. She has been on her own pirate treasure hunt and found 3 pieces of gold, a ship wreck and a bag of diamonds. What did you find?
