The Judgment Seat of Christ
Two KEY questions for us as believers:
A. Who am I becoming?
Our Journey in Discipleship - Our Person.
B. Am I fulfilling God’s call and purpose for my life?
Our Journey in Serving God - Our Purpose.
![Page 7: Ssmc dg-3-life impactinglives](https://reader034.vdocuments.site/reader034/viewer/2022042613/55495a03b4c905e94e8b5130/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)

2. The Mentoring Relationship (MR)
C. The Mentor - Discipler
iii. Mentors invest, influence and impact
the Mentoree’s life.
They “ADD VALUE” to the particular
aspect of the mentoree’s life for
that season.
![Page 23: Ssmc dg-3-life impactinglives](https://reader034.vdocuments.site/reader034/viewer/2022042613/55495a03b4c905e94e8b5130/html5/thumbnails/23.jpg)
2. The Mentoring Relationship (MR)
D. The Mentoree
i. A mentoree is someone who will posture
himself / herself to learn and to receive
from the mentor, inputs into areas
of his life and ministry.
ii. A mentoree may have different
mentors for different “needs” of
his life.
![Page 24: Ssmc dg-3-life impactinglives](https://reader034.vdocuments.site/reader034/viewer/2022042613/55495a03b4c905e94e8b5130/html5/thumbnails/24.jpg)
Benefits of Having a Mentor
You may be good and even better than everyone else.
But without a coach-mentor, you will never be as good
as you could be.
![Page 25: Ssmc dg-3-life impactinglives](https://reader034.vdocuments.site/reader034/viewer/2022042613/55495a03b4c905e94e8b5130/html5/thumbnails/25.jpg)
Benefits of Having a Mentor
I can go farther and faster with someone coaching me
than I can on my own.
An effective coach does not need to possess more skills
than the person he is coaching.
It is what he sees that counts.
![Page 26: Ssmc dg-3-life impactinglives](https://reader034.vdocuments.site/reader034/viewer/2022042613/55495a03b4c905e94e8b5130/html5/thumbnails/26.jpg)
Benefits of Having a Mentor
A good coach assess your performance vs
your potential.
Coach = Counselor + Consultant + Mentor
A Coach - observes, instructs, inspires.
![Page 27: Ssmc dg-3-life impactinglives](https://reader034.vdocuments.site/reader034/viewer/2022042613/55495a03b4c905e94e8b5130/html5/thumbnails/27.jpg)

2. The Mentoring Relationship (MR)
F. The MR Commitment
After you have found your mentor / mentoree,
you commit to the Mentoring Relationship for
1-2 years.
You decide the frequency of
Mentoring Relationship Meetings.
![Page 35: Ssmc dg-3-life impactinglives](https://reader034.vdocuments.site/reader034/viewer/2022042613/55495a03b4c905e94e8b5130/html5/thumbnails/35.jpg)
2. The Mentoring Relationship (MR)
F. The MR Commitment
This can be weekly, fortnightly but should be
at least once a month.
This can be over breakfast, lunch
or dinner or just time set aside in
the evenings and weekends.
It should normally take about
1.5 - 2 hours.
![Page 36: Ssmc dg-3-life impactinglives](https://reader034.vdocuments.site/reader034/viewer/2022042613/55495a03b4c905e94e8b5130/html5/thumbnails/36.jpg)

to make disciples.
![Page 37: Ssmc dg-3-life impactinglives](https://reader034.vdocuments.site/reader034/viewer/2022042613/55495a03b4c905e94e8b5130/html5/thumbnails/37.jpg)

to invest, influence and impact that life
for the LORD.

2 Timothy 4:6-7
For I am already poured
out like a drink offering,
and the time has come
for my departure.
I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith.
CONCLUSION
