SSH Top World Architecture Practicefor Culture two consecutive years

In the 2016 edition of the WA100, Building Design World Architecture 100 survey has recognised SSH’s leadership across all categories. With a top-ten ranking in all four primary criteria— Culture, Heritage, Infrastructure and Construction Management, SSH took third place overall among other Middle East practices and was ranked 72nd globally.

SSH ranked first in the Culture and third in the Infrastructure categories for the second consecutive year. This reinforces our strong regional presence and continues to demonstrate an inspired commitment to Architecture. SSH earned the second place rank in the Heritage and fourth in the Construction Management categories, which celebrates our leading role in shaping the built environment and infrastructure of the modern Middle East.

The annual World Architecture 100 compendium is administered by Building Design who surveys the world’s biggest architecture practices to create a report that is one of the most respected annual publications in the industry. This year, world practices were ranked not only by their design portfolio but also by the number of fee earning architects they employ. SSH was selected in the Top 100 list ahead of 1278 other global architecture companies.

SSH specialises in the delivery of world-class construction projects in the MENA region. We are a multidisciplinary firm with over 50 years’ experience in master planning, infrastructure, building design and construction supervision.

SSH has extensive experience in carrying out all of the early project stages including pre-development studies, zoning and feasibility studies, master planning and urban design.

Over 5 decades, we have been involved in or led the planning of many of Kuwait’s most significant construction projects. WHAT WE DO

SSH is committed to delivering high quality construction supervision services. Our in-house quality management system ensures that we meet technical, statutory, budget and programme requirements.

SSH has a dedicated construction division with specialised personnel and procedures to manage and supervise construction activities. Our teams work with skill to reduce technical risks, prevent construction errors, control budgets and meet project deadlines. To maintain quality control, we regularly audit site teams to ensure that our procedures are followed. Our extensive experience spans every aspect of construction in sectors such as education, governmental, military, commercial and residential complexes.

SSH’s construction division currently supervises and project manages an extensive portfolio of projects.

SSH offers comprehensive consulting services and a multidisciplinary approach for a wide range of infrastructure and transport projects; playing a leading role in Kuwait’s public and private sector development for five decades. SSH has formed strong working relationships with government departments, private sector clients and utility authorities across the wider MENA region.
