Assigning records to mask

Once the mask gets created navigate to the Main table and select the records which are to be shown to a

particular user in Catalog which we showcase in Portal.

As we have Named Search also which is dynamic compared to the Mask, therefore even we can go ahead

and create a named search and assign the records and the same can be used under Webservices which is

explained in later part.

1.2 SRM configuration

Web services to be defined to call the Catalog Repository

Go to transaction SPRO (it requires SRM side authorization first to log in SRM)

Click on SAP Reference IMG

Click on SAP Implementation->SAP SRM-> SRM Server->Master Data->Content Management-> Define

external web services.

After creating webservice id go to Standard call structure to assign relevant parameters which include

repository name (to which catalog belongs), catalog name (mask name).

1.2 Organization Structure Set Up-

Once the web service up and running the Web services id which we created has to be assigned to a particular

User ID (Where User has to be available under SRM, use Users_Gen to create the same.

Navigate to PPOCA_BBP T code (SRM consultants will do it for you). To create organizational Structure and

assign Position and followed by a Central Person.

Assign the user with the Catalog ID (Webservices) which is already created.

1. UI configuration

Use the link which is a combination of Java Server and the Port and enter all the details to login.

Note- Users which we created under Console with the role UI Configuration Manager are only to be used in

order to Log In.

Once you log in you can view the list of Users, created under Console with the Role Catalog User available in

the dropdown.

Select a Particular User to whom you need to save and perform the OCI Mapping and proceed.

You can customize the available fields for the following screens: Item Lists , Shopping Cart

1. Select your preference, Yes or No for the configuration options:

2. In the dropdown box Hierarchy , choose system search field type. There are two options:

1. Portal View

Once the Necessary Configuration and all set up done both at SRM Server and SAP NW the Portal will

give a view for the Catalog Repository which we have designed and called in Webservices.

The SRM portal user can view and perform the Shopping activities.
