Newsletter for the even semester 2017-18 under the able guidance of Hon. Principal
Dr. Suresha and the Head of Mechanical Engineering Department Dr. Shrishail Kak-
keri. The editorial board has made sincere attempt to fetch the information regarding
the department activities, results, placements, sports & cultural activities, faculty &
student publications for publishing in this newsletter. We express our sincere grati-
tude to the Management of SVCE for the support extended. The board is extremely
happy for the contribution extended by all the faculty members, technical staff and
students of the department.
It gives me an immense pleasure to introduce the
Volume 6, Issue 2 of the Newsletter of the year 2017-2018
by the Department of Mechanical Engineering. A Newsletter
carries the contributions reflecting ethos and aspirations of
the students, faculty and other team members of the depart-
ment. It brings to the light the names of the unsung heroes
and their mighty deeds.
I wish the maiden attempt all success. Let there be
more contribution in future. I am sure it can make a reader
travel down the lanes of memory, giving rise to a surge of
emotions of many hues and colours.
