I. Faculty Progression

Ms. V. Nandhini of ECS acted as a resource person and conducted a workshop on “PC

Hardware Trouble shooting and services” for the students of computer Science

Department at Dr. R V Arts and Science College, Karamadai, Coimbatore on 01.10.2015.

Mr. T. Veeramanikandasamy of ECS has conducted one day workshop on “Embedded

System design using Arduino platform” for the students of M.Sc. ECS, SKASC on

10.10.2015.

Faculty Members of Commerce Streams attended Faculty Development Programme on

Real Time Processing of BOLT from 14.10.2015 to 16.10.2015.

Mr. A. P. Rajesh & Mr. S. Sudheesh of ECS have participated in expert interaction on “

How to get your projects funded from agencies” organized by CPDT, SKCET on

20.10.2015.

Dr. K. Sampath of ECS has presented the research work at the international conference on

Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management on 07.10.2015.

World Students Day was organized by Department of MSW.

Tamil Oratorical Competition and oath taking programme were conducted at Sri

Ramakrishna Hospital and Sri Raamakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College on 15.10.2015.

World Students Day was organized in our College premises on 15.10.2015 on account of

Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam‟s Birthday.

Jaya TV Pattimandram presided by Dr. K. Gnanasambandan was organized on

17.10.2015.

Department of Commerce ABC organized Placement-Interface programme and Parent

Meet with TCS team on 18.10.2015.

Special Pooja was organized at Library on account of Vijayadasami on 20.10.2015.

T. Nivetha & P.S. Pavithra of II B.Sc (CS) „A‟ presented a paper on “Cloud Computing”

in National Level Technical Symposium held at Karpagam University on 01.10.2015.

Students of III B. Sc (CDF) designed garments during the Industrial Exposure Training

and sold best garments to Textile industry on 08.10.2015.

V. Divagar & K. Kaviarasu of II B.Com(CA) „A‟ presented a paper on “Skill

Development Initiatives in India” in National Conference on Skill India Initiatives –

Powering the Performers held at Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi on

09.10.2015.

Students of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College participated in the event “91st Birthday

Celebration of Santhalinga Adigalar” at Perur, on 10.10.2015.

Jaro Education conducted On-Campus drive for Commerce and Management students on

13.10.2015.

Oberai Hotel organized Placement Drive for Catering Science and Hotel Management

Students on 13.10.2015 & 14.10.2015.

IBM campus drive was conducted on 16.10.2015 and Kavin of ECS got selected.

An App has been introduced and implemented by TCS for placement Training in our

premises on 18.10.2015.

VII. Meetings organized

Governing Body Meeting was held on 17.10.2015.

NAAC Criteria wise review Meetings were conducted during October 2015.

Tutor ward meeting was organized for all the classes during the month of October through

Google Apps.

The HoDs Meeting was conducted Twice in October, 2015.

Department wise faculty review meeting by Managing Trustee commenced on

26.10.2015.

VIII. Teaching and Learning System

1373 files were uploaded through Myklassroom.com by faculty members and students for

the purpose of academic and administration. 6827 assignments were submitted by

students, 44669 links have been uploaded to facilitate the students with recent information

and comprehensive descriptions. A total of 72780 points was achieved by students. A total

of 21230 points was achieved by faculty. A total of 14045 points was achieved by II

B.Sc.(CS) „A‟.

Mid-Term feedback and subject wise feedback were collected from students to get the

suggestions and grievances.

Course wise feedback was collected from faculty members to improve the quality of the

courses.

Group Discussions was conducted as a part of MAP code Assessment plan in all the

departments.

Remedial action plan was prepared and executed for the slow learners based on the CIA

test Marks.

IX. Guest Visits

Myklassroom.com Team visited our Campus on 08.10.2015 and organized campus shoot

regarding e-Learning implemented in our campus.

Kadhi Craft Foundation projected their creations at our campus on 09.10.2015 and

10.10.2015.

Six members of TCS team visited our Campus on 18.10.2015 for interaction programme

with B.Com (BPS) students.

Volley Ball Team Won trophy in Bharathiar University Tournament held at Erode Arts

College on 01.10.2015.

J.Balaji of II B.Sc CSA and D. Boophan of II BBA CA won the South Indian Athletic

Championship held at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh on 10.10.2015.

Two students secured first place and another pair of students ranked second in the

Tamilnadu state Junior Athletic Championship on 21.10.2015.
