ORIENTATION COURSE FOR CATERING PERSONNEL (OCCP)Duration : 1 Month(14 Days for OCCP and Mandatory STCW 2010 Courses)

Eligibility: A Degree or Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality & Hotel Administration or Hotel Management & Catering Technology or Catering or Culinary Arts or Hospitality and Tourism of minimum six month duration from an Institution duly recognized by the State Board / UGC approved University or approved by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMC) or AICTE.

● Age limit: 18 to 28 years

This course cater the knowledge on Merchant navy ship / Shipping industry introduced by D.G.Shipping to the catering personnel. Any candidate who completed hotel management diploma or degree must have to undergo the OCCP course to enhance his / her knowledge about shipping. This is course is another avenue for the Hotel Management students to get placed and start their career in Merchant Navy. There are ample of opportunity for the catering person who completed their degree or diploma in Hotel management in the cruise liner or merchant navy.

This course is also including STCW requirement and Indian CDC will be provided after the completion.
