NEWSLETTER THE WORLD‘S BEST RIDE SRAM Schladming World Cup 2009 spec count - SRAM leads in drivetrain and brakes 7 out of 8 World Cup victories, 1-2-3 at the World Championships, World Cup overall title and 5 out of 5 riders on the ﬁnal World Cup series podium, this is the outstanding scoreboard for XC racers riding on SRAM during the 2009 season. The spec numbers are impressive: 56% of the top 50 World Cup riders choose SRAM for their drivetrain, while 53% prefer Avid brakes over anything else.* More so, the new XX groupset, with SRAM XX drivetrain, Avid XX Brakes and RockShox XX suspension, launched at the beginning of summer 2009, has gone right to the top of the racing world with three rainbow jerseys, also taking a serious piece of the World Cup overall pie.
