operation in 1974. The Odessa Service Center has been a key component to supporting
all oil and gas pipeline companies in the Permian region. The Permian Basin is home to
many of the major oil and gas companies in the United States.
Oil and gas companies have been in production in this region since the first strike in 1921
and have produced more than 17 billion barrels of oil. Our years in operation and our
experience level concerning valves and actuation repairs, along with storage wellheads

quarter turn electric, pneumatic and hydraulic operators. API 6A underground storage well
equipment both new, repair and services.
Mobilization

customer support. DOT OQ Qualified and experienced technicians are available 24 hours
a day. For special projects, SPX offers special provisions and equipment. On one pipeline
conversion project, as many as four crews were dispatched simultaneously to different
locations for field repair of pipeline valves.
