• Critical wavelength emitted (even at the flat top energy 28 µm) is far from the detectable range

• Expected light results to be the Edge radiation

• Short distance between the two dipoles lead to interference phenomena

integrated energy per turn over the detectable range in function of the energy

• From E≈400 GeV the emitted light is comparable to the LHC emitted by the LHC undulator at 450 GeV

• Therefore it is reasonable to foresee an SR monitor at flattop energy in the SPS
