Sarah,I had written up some directions and screen shots for directions to get into My Learning. I attachedthem in case you would like to use them for others. Just blank out our names, if you dont mind. Ihad one more person try the test and she picked up on one thing. It is regarding a delay in theslidestoo much time between the slide title and the body of the text transitioning in. See belowfor 2 specific spots this occurs. I plan on launching on Monday. Is there any chance to get thattransition to be faster or completely take the transition out and have the title and body of the textcome it all at once. I dont want them to think there is nothing there and click on the next slide. On the Mission slide (Customer Service and Compliance module) and in the module for PatientSafety and Comfort, there is too much time between the slide coming up and the wording comingup. The first time it happened I thought something was wrong and actually advanced the slide. Ithought maybe it was a blank slide but when I clicked back to check it again and I waited, then thewords came up but it seemed like a long wait. Instructions for Spring Fling 2012 Education and Competency Test

Well the time has really arrived and the Spring Fling education and competency test is up and ready to roll via My Learning on the JH Web. Below are the instructions for accessing the 6 modules you will have to complete. The session was broken into 6 modules for ease of use. You may take all at once or take one at a time. All staff must complete all modules by June 1, 2012. That gives everyone over 1 month to work this into your schedule. All 6 modules can be completed in about an hour or less.

You will need your JHED ID and password if you do not have single sign-on. There are screen shots below to explain how to get into the modules. There are more directions within the modules to help you navigate through the modules.

1. Click onto this link and you will be at the My Learning site. If you have single sign-on you will be at the starting page. 2. Click on the Add to My Plan button

3. Click on the NEXT button

4. Click on the Done button

5. Click on the link to the JHHCG Spring fling Annual competency Review -01 to begin.

6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the link to each module. Follow the directions within the module to complete each module.

7. Once you have completed all 6 modules go back to the original screen and scroll down to My Learning History and click on that icon.

8. Once the Learning History is displayed, click on View PDF link next to the JHHCG Spring Fling Annual competency Review -01 title. This will display your certificate. Hover the mouse towards the bottom of the page and the icons will appear for printing. Click on the printer button to print your certificate. Once you have printed your certificate, please give a copy of the certificate to your manager/supervisor.

Managers and supervisors, please bring all certificates to the Quality Department and deposit in the basket on top of the file cabinet, just as you come in the door to the Quality Department. Please make sure that all certificates are in to the Quality Department by Monday June 4, 2012.

If you are unable to complete all 6 modules at one time, all you have to do is log back on using the process in Step 1 above. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the Spring Fling modules. Simply click on any incomplete module and it will take you back to where you left off.even if it was in the middle of a module.
