It is my privilege to get to share this music and this evening with you, the audience.

Months of music making in the classroom has brought such joy and fulfilment of my own purpose and calling here at SCS. Music has been given to us

by the LORD. It brings joy and happiness, it tells a story, it moves us and allows us

to tap into our deepest emotions. When words fail, music speaks.

Not only these things, but music is to be used to praise the Maker of all things, the Creator of life

itself - the One True God. This is something unique and special to SCS.

The skills and techniques, the language of music, is beneficial enough on its own - you can find

articles and research stating these facts - but to turn it around and use it to bring Him

glory is something I can only hope and pray our students continue to do throughout their lives.
