A Gift to SJH Foundation = A Healthier Community

The South Jersey Healthcare (SJH) Foundation is all about joining together to make a positive impact on health

care for the families and friends of our community.

We are all concerned for the health of those nearest and dearest to us. Our thoughts and

actions naturally gravitate toward personal need, sometimes leaving little room for also helping our neighbors. Now is the time to join together to make a commitment to quality and compassionate health care for each and every one of us.

SJH is seeking partners to help us to continue to deliver excellence throughout the broad continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to meet our medical needs. Your generosity will advance the health and well-being of your family and impoverished families as well.

When acute care is needed, our SJH Regional Medical Center, SJH Elmer Hospital and SJH Bridgeton Health Center are ready 24/7/365. For preventative medicine, SJH offers

Special thanks to Sparks Electric

We would like to extend a warm thank you to Sparks Electric from Monroeville for use of their bucket truck on January 5, 2009. An elevated photo of Elmer Hospital was needed for donor recognition as part of the Building on Excellence Capital Campaign and the Sparks crew was invaluable for this purpose.

Auxiliary Hosts Princesses at Annual PartyThe SJH Auxiliary hosted its annual Princess Party on

Saturday, March 21, entertaining 100 princesses from ages 2-6 with parents and grandparents. Each princess received a loot bag, souvenir photo, nail painting, crafts and snacks. The SJH Auxiliary once again recruited the help of Lisa Taylor from Party Works to bring in key elements of the party, including Disney princesses. Taylor has been assisting with the event since it began in 2005. The Princess Party raised more than $2000 and all proceeds benefit the SJH Foundation.

Major and Planned Giving Opportunities“Quality health care…can I make a difference?”

Quality health care is not something we take for granted. At South Jersey Healthcare (SJH), we

greatly appreciate the generosity of individuals, foun-dations and corporations in our region that continually help us to provide quality health care for the medical needs of all. The SJH Foundation invites you to con-sider A Gift for a Healthier Community.

This year, we are reaching out to friends and potential donors throughout southern New Jersey in a concentrated initiative to increase our endowment fund at the SJH Foundation. The earnings from this fund enable us to pay for many enhanced programs and

services at the SJH Regional Medical Center, SJH Elmer Hospital and SJH Bridgeton Health Center.

You can make your contribution in many convenient ways: cash, a major gift with a naming opportunity, a planned giving vehicle such as a charitable remainder trust or as a bequest in your will. However you choose to make your donation, you will ultimately help us to continue to provide quality health care for generations to come. To learn how you can help, call the SJH Foundation office today at 856-691-6551. Remember, the gift of a healthier community begins with you!
