After several years as a magazine and website publisher for a major international publishing house, Geoff founded ICN in the early days of the Appstore in 2009. The company’s ethos was to harness awareness by utilizing a well-known and credible name within a specified subject area and then produce informative, authoritative content alongside relevant utility features.

The company is focused on all aspects of publishing, so marketing, monetization, design and product quality are all seen as equally vital.

The business has launched 14 apps with names such as James May, Vincent & Flavia, Jimmy Anderson, Premier Models and David Gandy. Two have been featured in the Sunday Top 500 Apps in the World list, as well as featuring as a BBC Click ‘Highlight of 2012’.

Now headquartered out of Nottingham’s Creative Quarter, and with a US subsidiary established, ICN is looking to expand into the largest mobile consumer markets such as India, China, Brazil and Japan over the next 12–24 months.

Dana has been in the PR industry for over six years, after completing a degree in communication at Napier University in Edinburgh. Dana has an agency background, having started out at Berkeley PR, a specialist in technology.

Today, Dana is a senior account manager and is responsible for creating and driving successful programmes for global organisations.

During her time at Proactive International PR, Dana has travelled the world and established herself as key player within the agency. She handles traditional media relations and social media programmes and is the first to know about new technology trends – as she has to write the press releases!
