Sports Performance Student Athlete Scholarship Essay Contest for student athletes in grades 9-12 Enter the Kingsbury Club’s 1st Annual Student Athlete Scholarship Essay Contest and win a 1-year free membership and a specially designed strength training program. Essay Tell us why you believe you deserve a one year free membership to the Kingsbury Club and how you will benefit from your membership. Include any student and athletic awards and achievements. 2. How to enter The contest begins March 24, 2013 and ends on May 25, 2013. To enter submit your essay by email to: [email protected] or by mail to: Randy Townsend, Kingsbury Club, 186 Summer St. Kingston, MA 02364. Entries must be postmarked no later than May 25, 2013. Limit one entry per person. Essay should be submitted in English between 500-750 words and typed double-spaced. Entry should include your name, parent/guardian’s name, email address, phone number, male or female, what school you are attending and your essay. 3. Judging All entries will be judged by Kingsbury Sports Performance staff based on the following criteria: originality, appropriateness to theme, creativity and proper use of language. Winner will be notified by email and/or telephone by May 31, 2013. 4. Eligibility Open to student athletes in grades 9-12 of: Duxbury High School, Duxbury, MA, Silver Lake Regional High School, Kingston, MA Sacred Heart High School, Kingston, MA 5. Prize description One male and one female will receive a free one year non- transferable membership (a value of up to $715.00) to the Kingsbury Club, 186 Summer St., Kingston, MA 02364 and will also receive a Kingsbury Sports Performance T-shirt. Membership will run from June 1, 2013 to May 31, 2014. Each winner will be granted the opportunity to sit with one of our sports performance coaches to design an individualized strength training program specific to their sport.
