Sports Academy MBO Amersfoort

The Sports Academy Amersfoort is part of the MBO Amersfoortlocated in The Netherlands. On the campus you will find allsorts of sport facilities such as fitness, squash, a gymnastics anddance hall and a climbing wall.

On the request of Housing Coordinator Tjitte Boersma, ourdesigner Michiel van Nieuwland has created a sports themefloor design for all classrooms. "Everyone here has something todo with sports and therefore you want the entire organizationto radiate that feeling," said Johan Timmerman and OkkeLooijen, team leaders at the Sports Academy.

The existing carpet flooring has been replaced by Marmoleumflooring in the entire building. "A versatile and durable floorcovering that brings a lot of energy. Our students used to saythat the classrooms were boring, but now they find it excitingand refreshingly beautiful. A nice compliment for a successfulrenovation."
