SPORT PARTNER CODE OF CONDUCT: COVID-19

While we are adopting many new practices to ensure cleaning and safety Sport Partners also play a very important role in maintaining this new standard. These rules will be strictly enforced and non-compliance may result in a temporary or long term ban. If you witness anyone not in compliance, please reach out to a RSC employee.

Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and refrain from visiting the facility if displaying symptoms.

Do not use or move equipment that is marked unusable.

Do not share equipment.

Any additional attendees not previously approved by Repsol Sport Centre will be asked to leave the facility.

Use hand sanitizing stations available.

Locker rooms are open to Sport Partners for washroom, hand washing and changing services. You may allow up to 3 people from each group use the locker rooms for changing should you wish. Please ensure that your Provincial and/or National Sport Organization has approved the use of these areas. For washroom and hand washing services please allow a single individual from your club to use these services at any given time. Do not leave belongings behind.

Showering may be done on deck only using the public showers located across from the steam room as well as behind the Dive Tower. Only approved product provided by Repsol Sport Centre may be used when showering. No personal product may be used at any time when showering on deck. Locker room showers are not permitted at this time.

Follow facility egress routes and adhere to activity space maximum capacities and physical distancing guidelines (6 ft/2 meters apart).

As of August 1, 2020 an enforceable, temporary bylaw will now require individuals to wear a

face covering in indoor public spaces and public vehicles, unless the person is separated from others by a barrier or is exempt. The Temporary COVID-19 Face Coverings Bylaw (BYLAW NUMBER 26M2020) is in effect on August 1, 2020 and more information can be found at https://www.calgary.ca/csps/cema/covid19/support/business/face-covering-requirements.html

As of August 1, 2020 all Sport Partner Athletes, Coaches, and Volunteers will be asked to wear a mask in accordance with BYLAW NUMBER 26M2020. Masks must be worn at all times unless partaking in physical activity. All areas of the facility in which a Sport Partner could egress is considered under the bylaw as a public space requiring the use of a mask.

The use of Cohorts are allowed at the Sport Partner’s discretion. Please follow the recommendations from Albert Health Services and your Provincial Sport Organizer to identify if you are able to use Cohorts.

To the extent possible, arrive dressed and ready to participate. When you have completed your booking please ensure changing on deck is kept to a minimum (possible use of pipe and drape to minimize chance of exposure is being considered).

COVID-19 SPORT PARTNER RULES AND REQUIREMENTS

All guidelines set out by Repsol Sport Centre are subject to change and will be communicated via email to the agreed upon recipients. BEFORE YOUR RETURN

All Sport Partners must declare and be approved by their respective Provincial Sport Organizations before their return to indoor sport at Repsol Sport Centre. Until this has been confirmed by Repsol Sport Centre with each Sport Partner, access to the facility will not be allowed and all bookings will be removed up until the date of return.

Confirmation of your approved declaration to your Provincial Sport Organization must be provided if requested by Repsol Sport Centre.

GUIDELINE OVERVIEW

1. PICKUP/DROPOFF

REQUIRED DUTIES o It is expected that all required duties set out by your respective Provincial or

National Sport Organization are to be followed during these periods.

2. ACCESSING FACILITY

GENERAL ENTRANCE & EXIT o Facility access will be granted to a single coach (from their respective club)

whom themselves will enter the facility via the South Entrance, and will navigate all requirements of the “Customer Code of Conduct” while traveling to their designated Sport Partner entrance.

o Before Repsol Sport Centre opens at 6:00 am on Weekdays/Saturday and 7:00 am on Sundays, we request that all Aquatic Coaches who arrive for their 6:15 or 7:15 am bookings wait at the emergency exit door at the bottom of the Customer Service stair case. Access to the pool deck during this time will be granted by a Repsol Sport Centre Aquatic Staff Member. Please ensure that you are maintaining a minimum of 2 meters of distance during this period. For all other times of day the coaches who have keys to access this door can go ahead and use them to enter the pool deck.

o Please ensure that the coach entering the facility through the South Entrance has their club access card as this will be the primary identifier when passing through the Customer Services gates.

o All Sport Partner entrances and exits are to be operated solely by coaches or approved volunteers, and all volunteers, approved coaches and athletes must be let in by an approved coach.

o All Sport Partner athletes, volunteers, and coaches must not enter the facility more than 15 minutes prior to their booking, and must exit the facility within 15 minutes of their booking concluding.

o All Sport Partner coaches and volunteers who are required for more than a single booking within the facility each day may stay between bookings as long as the waiting period is no more than 30 minutes. Where more than a 30 minute period exists the Sport Partner coach or volunteer must exit the facility and return no more than 15 min prior to their next scheduled booking.

AQUATIC ENTRANCE o All Sport Partner athletes, volunteers, and additional coaches using the Training

Pool areas will be expected to wait outside the West Training Pool emergency exit in order to gain access to the facility. During this time please ensure all appropriate social distancing measures are being taken, and the Public Pathways remain clear.

o All Sport Partner athletes, volunteers, and additional coaches using the Competition Pool and Dive Tank areas will be expected to wait outside the Competition Pool emergency exit in order to gain access to the facility. During this time please ensure all appropriate social distancing measures are being taken, and the Public Pathways remain clear. (EGRESS IMAGE UPDATE TO COME).

o While entering the facility all those doing so must remove any outdoor footwear and will need to take it with them to their activity space. It is asked that where possible, indoor dedicated footwear be worn while navigating the activity space. If a footwear cleaning station is available upon entry to the Aquatic space, those coaching or volunteering in the space may use this as an alternative to changing their footwear. Please come prepared with a reusable/plastic bag to place any soiled footwear in. This will help maintain a clean and safe pool deck.

o Once you have reached you designated activity space where your booking will take place, please ensure all belongings left during your booking maintain a minimum 2m distance from any other belongings not your own.

AQUATIC EXIT o All Sport Partner athletes, volunteers, and additional coaches using the Training

Pool areas will be expected to exit through the East Training Pool emergency exit in order to limit risk when traveling through the facility. During this time please ensure all appropriate social distancing measures are being taken. If you are the final Coach in the facility leaving for the day, you may also leave through this emergency exit ensuring the door is closed behind you.

o All Sport Partner athletes, volunteers, and additional coaches using the Competition Pool and Dive Tank areas will be expected to exit through the Competition Pool emergency exit in order to limit risk when traveling through the facility. During this time please ensure all appropriate social distancing measures are being taken. If you are the final Coach in the facility leaving for the day, you may also leave through this emergency exit ensuring the door is closed behind you.

DRYLAND ENTRANCE o All Sport Partner athletes, volunteers, and additional coaches will be expected to

wait outside the Gym 5 emergency exit in order to gain access to the facility. During this time please ensure all appropriate social distancing measures are being taken.

o While entering the facility all those doing so must remove soiled footwear and will need to take it with them to their activity space. As footwear is mandatory in all dryland areas of the facility, indoor dedicated footwear must be worn while navigating the activity space should you need to remove any outdoor footwear. Please come prepared with a reusable/plastic bag to place any soiled footwear in. This will help maintain a clean and safe activity space.

3. EQUIPMENT

REPSOL SPORT CENTRE EQUIPMENT o Repsol Sport Centre equipment will not be available for use with the exceptions

of Water Polo Goals, Whiteboards, and any additionally requested barrier related items (stanchions).

o When using Whiteboards Repsol Sport Centre is asking that all those doing so sanitize their hands prior or wear gloves. Repsol Sport Centre will continue to sanitize used Whiteboards between club bookings.

PARTICIPANT/COACH/VOLUNTEER PERSONAL EQUIPMENT AND PERSONAL ITEMS

o Sport Partners should follow the recommendations from the Provincial/National Sport Organizations.

o May be stored at the facility at the Sport Partner’s discretion. o Should be cleaned before and after coming to the facility if removed from the

facility. o Should not be shared between multiple individuals.

SPORT PARTNER OWNED ITEMS o Sport Partners may use their leased storage spaces as long as appropriate

actions are taken to minimize risk to all those accessing the space. All actions taken must be within the provincial guidelines of Alberta Health Services and your Provincial/National Sport Organization.

4. ENTERING A BOOKED AQUATIC SPACE

EAST TRAINING POOL o Access from the Northeast corner of the pool closest to the viewing deck. This

will allow for appropriate exiting of the activity space once your booking has concluded.

o Once a club has initially entered the pool from the designated area above, then they are permitted to use the staring block or head wall for entry until the end of their booking.

NORTH COMPETITION POOL o Access from the Northwest corner of the pool closest to the headwall. This will

allow for appropriate exiting of the activity space once your booking has concluded.

o Once a club has initially entered the pool from the designated area above, then they are permitted to use the staring block or head wall for entry until the end of their booking.

SOUTH COMPETITION POOL o Access from the Northwest corner of the pool closest to the bulkhead. This will

allow appropriate exiting of the activity space once your booking has concluded. o Once a club has initially entered the pool from the designated area above, then

they are permitted to use the staring block or head wall for entry until the end of their booking.

DIVE TANK o Please ensure you are entering and exiting the pool at any of the corners of your

designated booking space.

5. FACILITY CAPACITY

AQUAPLEX o Capacity = 100 people (max. 80 with the intent to enter the water; offices are

excluded) o Training pool: 80 - this allows for 5 people per lane, or 40 people per 8 lanes (i.e.

Artistic Swimming could have 40 swimmers if they have 8 lanes booked) (Should we see an increase by AHS to maximum occupancy number in singular indoor locations, we will look to possibly increase this number)

UNDER THE TENT o Capacity = 150 people (max. 125 with the intent to enter the water; offices are

excluded) o Competition pool: 80 - this allows for 5 people per lane, or 40 people per 8 lanes

(i.e. Artistic Swimming could have 40 swimmers if they have 8 lanes booked) (Should we see an increase by AHS to maximum occupancy number in singular indoor locations, we will look to possibly increase this number)

Dive Tank: 30 – this allows for 5 people per lane, or 30 people total (i.e. Artistic Swimming or Diving) – this means the capacity of booking ½ dive tank would be 15. (Should we see an increase by AHS to maximum occupancy number in singular indoor locations, we will look to possibly increase this number)

GYMNASIUMS UNDER THE TENT o Full Gym Capacity = Varies based Gymnasium

- Gym 1: Unavailable at this time for additional bookings beyond the already confirmed Fall 2020 allocation

- Gym 2: 40 people - Gym 3: Unavailable at this time - Gym 4: 40 people - Gym 5: 40 people

o Half Gymnasium: 20 people (this currently only applies for Gyms 4 and 5 and not for Gym 2)

TRACKS o Track bookings are being accepted. o Capacity = All athletes, coaches and volunteers o Track 1: 20 (Should we see an increase by AHS to maximum occupancy number

in singular indoor locations or an increase to this area by Repsol Sport Center, we will update the capacity to appropriately reflect the change)

o Track 2: 20 (Should we see an increase by AHS to maximum occupancy number in singular indoor locations or an increase to this area by Repsol Sport Center, we will update the capacity to appropriately reflect the change)

UPDATES TO CAPACITIES o Updates to facility space capacities will be communicated via email, and any

increases to your Head Count will be required no less than 10 business days prior to the booking in which the increase references.

6. CONTACT TRACING

REQUIRED DUTIES o It is expected that all required duties set out by a Sport Partners Provincial or

National Sport Organizer are to be followed when completing all necessary tracing.

o Sport Partners who do not report to a traditional Provincial or National Sport Organizer will be required to identify to Repsol Sport Centre the process in which they plan to contact trace all attendees utilizing booked spaces.

o Any information about attendees will not be shared with Repsol Sport Centre. o Should an exposure of COVID-19 be expected within a Sport Partner user group,

Repsol Sport Centre will require the following information to assist with contract tracing - Confirmation of compliance with all required Alberta Health Services

guidelines when processing a possible exposure to COVID-19 - Total number of attendees who may have been exposed - Time and date of all bookings by the Sport Partner within Repsol Sport Centre

in which the possibly affected attendee(s) were at the facility

7. PARENTS/GUARDIANS/VOLUNTEERS & SPECTACTING

PARENTS/GUARDIANS o Parents of Sport Partner athletes are not to enter the facility at any point unless

they are approved as a required volunteer by the Sport Partner to assist with mitigating risk. Volunteers must be identified to Repsol Sport Centre no less than 5 business days prior to any booking in which they are needed in the facility.

SPECTATING o Spectating will not be permitted and will resume once appropriate.

VOLUNTEERS o Volunteer opportunities within your own club is recommended. These

opportunities are to ensure athletes and coaches follow all your approved guidelines, and assist with the general safety of your athletes who require additional assistance when egressing the facility.

o All volunteers are expected to be accounted for when the Sport Partner is providing head counts to Repsol Sport Centre. If a volunteer is not identified for a booking prior to the booking date, the volunteer will not be allowed access to the facility.

o Approved volunteers may open or close Sport Partner approved entrances and exits. Approved volunteers must be previously confirmed with the Sport Services Manager at Repsol Sport Centre via email containing the time the volunteers will be in the facility as well as first and last name of each volunteer.

o All volunteers are to remain in the Sport Partner booked spaces unless assisting athletes with egress in the facility.

8. MODIFICATIONS & CANCELLATIONS

PERIOD o July 6, 2020 – August 31, 2020 (WE WILL RETURN TO THE REGULAR

MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS PROCESS STARTING SEPTEMBER 1 2020 AS SET OUT IN THE SPORT PARTNER AGREEMENT)

o A minimum of 3 business days prior to any booking will be required in order to cancel/change a booking without penalty.

Singular Allocation Cancellation To modify a singular allocation with no financial penalty, the Sport Partner must provide greater than 14 business days’ written notice prior to the start of the activity, to the appropriate SSD email (see chart below). The Sport Partner will not be charged for the modification if received with adequate notice, and the SSD will provide a confirmation to the designated contact person. If a modification is needed within 13 - 8 business days of the start of the activity, the user group must provide written notice to the appropriate SSD email (see chart below), and the SSD will inform the Sport Partner of the applicable fees, as per the chart below. New bookings are allowed during this time frame with no financial penalty No changes can be accepted between 0 – 7 business days of the start of the booking. New bookings cannot be accepted during this time frame. The minimum duration of a booking is 30 minutes per space.

CLEANING & SAFETY

To prepare for our reopening we have invested in new equipment and sanitization products as well as introduced a number of new cleaning practices and protocols. These safety measures have been put into place to protect the health of our Members, Sport Partners and employees.

All employees will adhere to daily posted cleaning schedule and checklist

All employees will be trained in cleaning measures, products, tools and equipment

Employees will be equipped with spray bottles of EP50 with paper towels have been provided to employees for their stations, desks & offices

Hand sanitizer available throughout the facility and will include: o Pump style hand sanitizer bottles of various brands like Purell, A360 SRP Hand

Sanitizer and Isagel (all brands have the minimum required 60% alcohol or more) o Foot press, hand free sanitizer at South Entrance for prior to entering the facility.

Product used is Vision BioScrub Anti-Bacterial Bottle Hand Sanitizer w/Aloe, subject to change based on availability

o All wall mounted hand sanitizers currently throughout the facility will now contain a product that is 60% or more alcohol based

Hands-free paper towel dispensers will be installed in all washroom and locker room areas

Disinfectant wipes will be available either by a wall mounted or free standing stations throughout all fitness areas and studios. Wipe brands will be either Benefect Wipes, Deacon 30, or BZK

Disinfectant mats placed at access points were outdoor footwear is now permitted including R.E.P.S. Studio, Strength & Balance Studio and pool deck. Sport Partners must step onto the stationed mat prior to entering these spaces and is equipped with 1% Peroxide Solution

Repsol Sport Centre equipment will be sprayed and cleaned with the Deacon 30

After hours deep clean of shared equipment and spaces with our Victory electrostatic sprayer with Unitab product

Protective barriers have been installed at designated locations where Customers, Members and Sport Partners meet

EMPLOYEE CODE OF CONDUCT

Sign a mandatory declaration prior to first shift worked

Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms

REPSOL SPORT CENTRE COVID-19 RAPID RESPONSE PLAN

1ST STEP o Person shows signs and symptoms for Covid-19 after passing through initial

screening including either a verbal or written acknowledgment on the Health Declaration.

2ND STEP o Person is isolated from staff, public and all user groups. o Secondary screening

- Has anything changed from when you entered the facility? - How do you feel? - The following signs and symptoms have been observed. Please explain.

3RD STEP o Require the person to put on a mask and use hand sanitizer immediately.

4th STEP o Arrangements made for person to leave the facility to avoid public transit if

needed.

5TH STEP o Clean and disinfect all areas and equipment the person has been in contact with.

DRYLAND EGRESS This egress point is likely to change to one near Gym 2 as Track 2 will become available for bookings. Due to the bookable aspect of Track 2 coming in the fall, it can no longer be used as a safe egress point during bookings.
