Who Am I?I’ve been called the Songbird of Freeskiing, The Latin Moose, El Diablo,

and The Nimble Goat. With the turn of an ex-racer, the airtime of a stunt devil, and the touch of a Phoenix, I’ve been acclaimed by Pro-Skiers Michelle Parker, Garrett Russell, and James Heim (coaches) as “The Man”, and I’m even more famous within the confines of my own home. I’ve been known to ski in Canada, America (Utah and Colorado), Switzerland, Austria, Chile, Argentina, and Patterson, New York. I’ve skied the Canadian Freeskiing Series and the Ski the East Freeride Tour, I’ve been featured with the Sass Global Travel Crew on Newschoolers, The Ski Channel.com, GrindTV.com, Onthesnow.com, (and personally on Newschoolers, Ben Girardi Photography, and Freeskier Mag Website) and many more. I’m currently signed with GoPro, Flylow Gear, Surefoot, Discrete Headwear, Swany Gloves, HiBall Energy Drink, Shred Optics and Helmets, and Slytech Protection. I’m 17 Years old. I’m incredibly handsome. And guess where I reside? That’s right, New York City.

The WonderchildAfter reading that, you may have stopped yourself dead in your tracks and decided to sponsor

me, but, before you do, let me make you want to sponsor me again with a little history of my junior career. After I stopped demolishing the racing scene at my 8th grade ski academy in Switzerland, I moved back home to New York and decided to pick up Freeskiing. The next year I began on the Junior Canadian Freeskiing Series, but then I decided to tomahawk and embarrass myself in the finals of my first comp and injure my knee, ending my season until summer (the deciding part was a joke in case you didn’t pick up on that one). I came to Argentina this summer to train with the SGT Crew and get back to where I was and got into the backcountry to drop some cliffs. Sockguy and X Games Energy liked my summer POV edit that I put together, along with my humor, pics, and publicity from SGT, so I got a deal with them, and then Flylow Gear, Surefoot, Swany, Discrete, HiBall, Slytech, Shred, Smith and GoPro came after that (my contracts with Sockguy, X Games, and Smith have now ended). They were my first sponsors since eighth grade. This season I came out and skied the Ski The East Freeride Tour, please find the coverage on my website. At this point you might say, “Lucas, you seem to have it all together, why would you possibly want to be sponsored by us?” The answer is simple. If you are a company reading this, I most likely love your brand. Your products are probably high quality and good looking, so what athlete wouldn’t want to use them?.

FAQ’S• 1. “Lucas, you live in New York City, how are you supposed to promote us?” Good question. Luckily, I

get around 70 ski days a year between vacations, skipping school, and summer training. (Utah, Colorado, Argentina mainly, and around 4 comps on the east as well as recreational days) As for the rest of the year, I can represent you guys in the city. Nearly all of my friends own or want ski product, so I would represent you guys just like I would on the mountain, spreading the word and encouraging people to buy.

• 2. “Lucas, why do you think you should be sponsored by us?” Well, as I put it, I have Character, Passion, and Talent in that order. Character: well if you haven’t seen it yet, I suggest you start reading. If you know me, you know I’m loud, funny, and well… charismatic. If you don’t know me, you probably know I’m loud anyway as long as you’ve been within a one mile radius of me. Passionate: I maintain a competitive freeskiing career as a Junior in high school living in New York City… I don’t think I need say much more than that. Talent: Look at the pics, I’ll give you a link to my summer edit, look at the results I’m going to get this year, look at my racing results, look at my current endorsements, what will you see? They don’t call me Twinkle-Toes Prodigy for nothin’. Finally, I guarantee that I am one of the few competitive freeskiers in the world who lives in New York City. Having an athlete in the city will help spread word both about your products to Upper East side stores and about your Colorado stores for all of those Upper East Side families who spend their winter breaks in Aspen and Beaver Creek. In addition, because good skiers are so hard to come by in NYC, if you know me I am the person you come to if you need any ski advice, and as a representative of your company, I will certainly tell everyone that I can.

FAQ’S CONTINUED• 3. “Lucas, you are a great candidate, but how are you going to represent us this year?”

Firstly, you will appear on my list of sponsors for every competition I ski in. You will be featured in every edit I make, you will get space on my competition helmet and skis (for stickers/die cuts), You will get talked about in every type of video I’m in, and well, I’ll tell everyone I can. Not to mention you’ll make it up to my Facebook, which is kind of a big deal considering that I passed the 1000 friend mark a while ago. You will have free access to any picture I’m in or video I have. I will update you on the product, and let you know what is and isn’t working for me on the mountain as far as the gear goes. I will let other people try your product and encourage them to buy.

• 4. (Only applicable to some companies) “Lucas, this is all great, but aren’t you competing on the east coast? We’re kind of a west coast brand…” Don’t worry guys, my plans are to be right back on the west coast next year once I take the SAT’s. I still spend around 40 days out there a year as it is, which to me isn’t enough of course. And the rest I travel all over the world so you don’t have to worry about being represented. And, in the meantime, I’ll rep you in the east comps too (Ski the East Freeride Tour, which I am a competitor on), that are closely affiliated with the IFSA and FWT. I can be the New York ambassador for your company. I will send any east coast skiers I meet to stores that carry your product.

• 5. “If you have so much character, why is your portfolio so bland?” I’m a better skier than I am a portfolio maker. Don’t judge me.

What would I like from you?

I am very flexible in this department. Any contract details can be discussed once you guys have shown interest, but essentially I have the same deal with all of my sponsors, that is, free product for the season. I would most likely ask for a couple pairs / sets of product, and any promotional die cuts or apparel required to rep the brand (for hardgoods companies). As for my goals for next season, I am returning to the Junior Freeskiing Tour and plan to have fun, ski well, and get some good results!
