Our County Rally attracts over 1,000 spectators and

competitors. If you are serious about getting your message

We have regular LFYFC Management Meetings with over

60 members attending and so we can distribute information

about your products and services to each club. Also, our AGM

is attended by over 300 members and families from all over

We are always impressed with the calibre of entries and the talents of young people in Lancashire. The top competitors go on to compete at Northern Area and then, if successful, to the National Finals.

Ten Pin Bowling – £50One of our more recent competitions, the Ten Pin Bowling night is a really sociable evening allowing Junior, Intermediate and Senior Members from di�erent clubs the chance to get to know each other and show o� their skills in a fun yet competitive evening.

Live and Carcass Judging – £100In this competition members learn the importance of being able to judge live animals and carcasses for commercial use, helping members involved in the industry to hone their skills for use in business. The top competitors progress to the Northern Area and National Finals.

Public Speaking – £100Another popular event of competitions for members of all ages. This event gives members con�dence and develops skills for use in everyday life and as a preparation for the world of work. The competitions also progress to Northern Area and National Finals.

Swimming – £150A fun competition, the Swimming Gala gives members a great opportunity to demonstrate their swimming skills in a competitive but fun environment. With traditional and fun competitions, this is always a great County event.

Top competitors progress to the National Finals at Harper Adams University.

Sheep Dog Trials – £25This is a new event and was only started in 2016 at LFYFC. It gives individuals the chance to ‘have a go’ at Sheepdog trials if they have not competed before. Everyone is very welcome especially beginners who can train during the event.

County Rally - £500 (main sponsor)Our �agship one day event.

Members from all our clubs compete in a large range of competitions including stock judging, traditional skills and crafts, �oral arts, cookery and a number of novelty competitions. Competitors from this go on to Northern Area and National Finals.

It’s a great day out with lots of fun and lots to see for all the members, competitors, sponsors and all their friends and families. Food and refreshments are available throughout the day.
