Taupō District Council is implementing its new speed bylaw. From December 1, 2018 there will be changes to several speed limits in our district.

The changes are being made to roads that have been identified as being high risk, and those where we have received feedback from our community. The majority of the changes involve speed limit reductions, so be sure to check the accompanying map and pay attention to speed limit signs to make sure you are within the limits.

These changes are being put in place to make our roads safer for all of us, so play your part and keep to the safe and appropriate speed.
