Antenna Dish Heaters Fly Ash Hopper Heating

These heater panels designed to fit the rear of satellite receiving dish aerials to prevent snow and ice accumulation on the front face.

Comprising of moulded Styrosun panels formed to the dish contours and incorporating a heater backed with insulation, they form an integral part of the dish assembly.

Designed as sections requiring 4 to 8 sections per dish the heater are lightweight (4kg/m² approx), easily installed and removed and have good thermal transfer properties.

Each panel is fully sealed and suitable for installation in all climatic conditions (-30°C to +70°C) to IP65.

Heating systems can be controlled by the ESH Trace Heating temperature and/or precipitation detection system.

Coal, oil and waste fired boiler systems require the removal of fly-ash from the gas stream. The fly-ash is removed by bay-house filters or precipitation systems and stored in hoppers.

It is essential that the hoppers are maintained at an elevated temperature to prevent hoppers plugging and corrosion.

Type HB module systems are specifically designed to maintain hoppers at elevated temperatures, to be resistant to shock and vibration and give long-life, reliable operation.

The module heaters have an operating temperature range up to +450°C and are vibration proof. Correctly installed they offer a thermally efficient and extremely reliable solution to the maintaining of fly-ash hoppers at the elevated temperatures.

Tanker Heating Systems Road, Ramp and Stair Heating

Electric heating systems for road tankers offer reliability, easy of installation, close temperature control freedom from corrosion and maintenance.

ESH heater pad systems offer maximum flexibility of design to suit individual requirements. They are constructed from robust high temperature materials operating up to 200°C.

Each system comprises a number of heater pads fitted to the underside of the tanker and covering up to 60% of the tanker circumference, enabling low density heating to be used with sensitive products. They can be supplied as single circuit systems or with multi-circuits with spare/standby facility and heat raising as required.

Pads can be easily fitted over existing steam tubes. Systems can be supplied for supply voltages up to 44oV with loadings up to 20KW.

During harsh winters, snow and ice can often cause many problems for both vehicles and pedestrians. Exposed ramps, stairways and emergency exist can become a hazard.

ESH Trace Heating Ltd provide a comprehensive range of products to prevent the settlement of snow and formation of ice on roads, ramps, stairs, footpaths and emergency exit areas.

With our diverse range of surface heating products, ramp heating and commercial underfloor heating systems can be designed, supplied and installed to suit application requirements.

Heated Flexible Hoses Hooper Door Heaters

Heated hoses are designed to prevent flow restrictions within a flexible hose. A standard method of construction for different bore size, an infinite variety lengths and the range of materials available enable the design to be individually tailored to customer requirements and retain the high quality of manufacture.

Note – All ESH Trace Heating hoses must be connected to a suitable temperature controller to protect against damage.

Reduces door sticking, fits any size door, highly robust design, self install or service available, designed for heavy vibration.

The efficient discharge of hot coated materials from hoppers to waiting transport can be seriously interrupted by the malfunction of hydraulic doors. One of the main causes is doors sticking as the materials cool. Hoppers generally rely on good insulation to maintain material temperature and in cool locations or inclement weather this is often inadequate.

With its robust design to cope with the generally demanding environment plus an ability to transfer heat efficiently and effectively, our type HPD hopper door heater is the perfect solution.
