Currently, there are no volunteers or groups dedicated to maintaining the flagpoles or grounds. Seeing is Believing! Come and join us tonight and Monday at 6:00pm as we travel through Bethlehem at the time of our Christ’s birth in this live, interactive drama! We’ve moved the “journey” indoors to stay dry while we travel to Bethlehem. You’ll still encounter live animals, shepherds, angels, Roman Soldiers, and magi as you make your way to Bethlehem.

In Honor of or In Memory of loves ones that have passed, poinsettias may be purchased for placement in the Sanctuary or CLC on Sunday, December 22nd. Orders will be taken thru Monday, December 16th. Cost: $12. Order your poinsettias and pay online at www.snellvilleumc.org/poinsettia.

One of the most beautiful traditions of Advent is the lightingof the Advent wreath. In church, it is placed in or near the

chancel and lighted at every service during Advent Season.The purpose of the Advent wreath is to deepen the

understanding of Christmas. The evergreen used in the wreath symbolizeseverlasting life found in Christ. The bending of

branches so that the ends reach furthersymbolizes life without end - creating a

circle - a wreath.The candles signify God’s Son as the

light of the world. There are fourcandles for the four weeks inAdvent, and a Christ candlein the center, which will be

lit on Christmas Eve.Make an Advent

familyfusion Kids don’t forget to pick-up your sparkle box in the Gathering Room or in the back of the CLC so you can start filling it with acts of love you’re doing this month! At the 4:00pm Children’s Christmas Eve Worship Service, you will get to say a special prayer and share them with Jesus.
