Invasion of the Body Snatchers

80 minutes: 1956 We start off our film season with this classic version of horror/sci-fi. In this disturbing classic science fiction / alien invasion film, Kevin McCarthy is Dr. Miles Bennell, a physician who returns to his small town practice to find his town has been taken over by an evil presence. Several of his patients are suffering from the paranoid delusion that their friends or relatives are impostors. The doctor is skeptical at first but then there are too many signs that the people in the town are being replaced by emotionless dopplegangers. When it becomes apparent that he and his finance are the only ones not yet "possessed" they make a desperate escape to get out of town and warn others.

Walk A Mile in My Shoes Project

Mockingbird and November's gallery exhibit, we invite YOU to participate. If you walked a mile in my shoes,

then you would know... a free workshop will be held at our Satellite Art Space where you can decorate a pair of your old shoes and tell us something we probably don't know about you. OR you can make a poster feturing

Film: Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit

Date: October 30, 2009 Time: 7:00 p.m. The beloved clay-animated characters from Aardman Animations hit the big screen when clumsy but creative Wallace invents a humane pest-control outfit called "Anti-Pesto" to protect the gardens in the neighborhood.
