Introduction Terminal overview

The terminal architecture comprises fourmain subsystems:

• Antenna

• Transmission and reception subsystem

• Baseband subsystem

• Monitoring and control subsystem

The high capacity terminal is based on a lowprofile antenna (two options: flat antennaor parabolic antenna).

Various RF output powers are available tosuit any user need.

The X Band SOTM (Satcom On The Move) isa highly compact integrated satellite terminaldesigned for “intra-theatre” communications, suitable for mounting on any type of militaryvehicle.

This new generation terminal, developed byIndra, provides “in motion” high capacitysatellite communications. Its rugged andcompact design enables a continuousbidirectional connectivity while moving overany terrain.
