fly. It was 9.30 pm. The ground crew then guided and accompanied the three of us all the way through security, immigration, running at full speed to gate number 98.

Page 13: Space Jam2

For EVERY checkpoint we came across towards, it was like watching the Japanese ground crew run a relay race. As our first runner came across her friend stationed at a different checkpoint, that friend would then continue running with us. Guiding us to the next checkpoint, only to tag up with another attendant who then guided us to another checkpoint again, and again, until gate 98.

As we arrived at a checkpoint where the signboard gallantly displayed 'Gate 98'. we breathed a sigh of relief.

An attendant even helped my elderly father with his "hand carry" during the run.

At the end of our ordeal, we were greeted by a small party of 5 attendants, one of whom looked like their manager and they sashayed us into the plane, where the smiling faces of the crew of MH71 welcomed us. We apologized to the crew for being late.

The senior flight attendant smiled and greeted us with a reassuring tone "Welcome aboard, and don't worry. You're on the flight now."

We had a comfortable flight and reached Kuala Lumpur on time at 3.30 am. However, one of our suitcases was missing. We then reported to LOST and FOUND and filled in the required form. The attendant promised to call us when the missing suitcase arrived stating that it would be delivered to our home. To our wonderful surprise the suitcase arrived at 11.30 that same ysia Airlines counter. The team of Japanese check-in attendants who seemed to be expecting us quickly responded, keyed in our data, and registered our luggage. To all the attendants of Narita Airport, the captain and crew of MH 71, and a special mention for Myra from the MAS 24 hour call centre, LOST and FOUND, we would like to extend our greatest thanks to everyone who helped us and secured our trip. Such excellent service is indeed unique and we would like to use this opportunity to inform the world about "WONDERFUL MAS". May fortune be with all of you in times of your direst needs, and may your business be always fruitful and prosperous.

Yours sincerely,

The Tantono family.
