1. Sleeping2. Talking to other students about nonsense3. Taking notes while talking to other students4. Listening to mp3 players (except for mine)5. Fiddling with items in your

purse/jacket/b.b./b.p.6. Pretending to participate (it’s obvious)

Participating is:

1. Actively listening: paying full attention to speaker

2. Actively speaking: talking to class about task at hand

3. Actively reading: reading the assignment for understanding

4. Actively writing: doing the actual assignment

What does this mean?:
