At 6,292 yards from the blue tees, it is a par 70 course with six par 4’s over 400 yards, and three par 3’s of over 200 yards. Designed and originally built in 1923 under the direction of George C. Thomas, Jr. and Billy Bell, the course was hailed as “a marvel of golfing architecture.” Thomas, who also designed courses at the Riviera, Bel-Air and Los Angeles country clubs, had two initial considerations for the Ojai course: “...that the average golfer could enjoy his round without too great a penalty, and that a test must be afforded requiring the low-handicap man to play fine golf in order to secure pars.” Join us for an enjoyable afternoon on the greens!

5:00pmMake your Own Pasta Cooking Class @ $150 /person Inspire your culinary fancies and partake in a first rate cooking demonstration and meal at the Ojai farmhouse.Learn the essential techniques to making two types of authentic pasta from scratch. Our chefs will show you how to roll and cut pasta by hand and by machine into fettuccine (a flat thick pasta) and trofie (a short, twisted pasta). As the chefs demonstrate the pasta making process, you will enjoy a gourmet family style Italian lunch including tastes of the fresh pasta shapes created in the class with seasonal sauces that let the flavor and texture of the pasta shine through.

Resort attire is appropriate for the Exhibitor Welcome Reception and resort or cocktail attire is recommended for the SWSC Reception. Programs are encouraged to band together and create a one-minute dance performance for the competition. Performance fee is $75 per entry.
