Our Chamber’s mission is, to
foster, promote, advance, and
improve the civic, commercial
and general business interests of
the surrounding areas and to
cooperate with other
communities promoting
objectives for the improvement
of our business and the welfare
of our community.
Tiffany Ginn was born and raised in Mobile. She recently
began working with Southern Light, a fiber optic Internet company based out of Mobile. Her sales background includes pharmaceuticals & medical devices, as well as several years with a waste and recycling services company. Tiffany has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Alabama and a 2
nd Bachelors Degree from the University of
South Alabama where she studied Biology, American Studies, Political Science, Communications and Marketing. She also attended McGill-Toolen High School and St. Ignatius. Tiffany is married to her husband, Mike, and they have two beautiful children. Their son, Baylor is 3 and their daughter, Carson will turn 1 this summer. She also enjoys monogramming, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends on our beautiful Gulf Coast. Tiffany also devotes her time to charitable causes through her work with several chambers and the Junior League of Mobile, including their partnership with the Bay Area Food Bank’s School Backpack program, Prodisee Pantry, The Joseph Project, The Exploreum, and St. Mary’s Home. She also volunteers for Gulf Coast Senior Services, and serves on several boards in the community. Once of the most exciting things she is looking forward to in her new position with Southern Light is that they encourage and empower their team members to give back to their community.

MOBILE POLICE OFFERING FREE GUN LOCKS
Every city resident who owns a firearm needs to know how to secure it. Encouraging owners to keep their firearms safe, the Mobile Police Department is offering free gun locks. Nearly all firearms accidents can be prevented by taking proper gun safety steps.
Hiding a gun in a closet or drawer is not safe. The danger is that children may find the gun, point it in the wrong direction and accidentally pull the trigger. Or they may intentionally use it to cause deathly injury against another person, thus entering into the juvenile justice system at an early age.
The free gun lock consists of an armored steel cable with one end permanently secured to a keyed padlock. When the lock is properly installed, the firearm is unloaded and the lock prevents the firearm's action from closing.
Through partnership with Project ChildSafe, a nationwide program to help ensure safe and responsible firearms ownership and storage, the Mobile Police Department is able to provide the gun lock to firearm owners.
Anyone interested in getting a free gun lock should come to the Mobile Police Department Headquarters, 2460 Government Blvd, or Community Services, 2407 Airport Blvd., and request it at the front desk. A gun lock safety tips brochure is included with each gun lock.
