Summer Reading Club June 29 - August 17. 2020 Read what you like, when you like! No weekly visits required, no weekly prizes to collect. Just check off a box for every 20 minutes your child reads or is read to. We’ve set a 140 minute stretch goal (that breaks down to just 20 minutes per week) but the Summer Reading Club is meant to encourage kids to keep reading, so read the amount that is attainable for your family. There will be certificates and prizes at the end. If circumstances allow, we will have a period when prizes can be picked up. If in-person is problematic, we will mail a prize envelope. All participants will receive prize details in August.

Weekly Children’s Challenge! The challenge will be posted online as well as on the library lobby window. These screen-free activities will be fun, simple activities and each challenge will count as 20 minutes of reading! Just check off an extra box for each Weekly Challenge you do.

Lucky Ticket Raffle Summer Reading Club participants will also be invited to participate in our free Lucky Ticket Raffle in August. It can be done online if we’re not able to do it in-person.

¡Lee lo que quieras, cuando quieras! No se requieren visitas semanales, no hay premios semanales para recoger. Simplemente marque una casilla por cada 20 minutos que su hijo lea o le lean. Hemos establecido una meta general de 140 minutos (lo que sig-nifica solo 20 minutos por semana) pero el el Club de lectura de verano está destinado a alentar a los niños a seguir leyendo, así que lea lo que pueda con su familia. Habrá certificados y premios al final. Si las circunstancias lo permiten, tendremos un período en el que se podrán recoger los premios. Si es un problema hacerlo en persona, le enviaremos un sobre por correo. Todos los participantes recibirán detalles del premio en Agosto.

¡Reto semanal para niños! El desafío se publicará en línea, así como en la ventana del vestíbulo de la biblioteca. ¡Estas actividades sin pantalla serán divertidas, actividades simples y cada desafío contará como 20 minutos de lectura! Simplemente marque una casilla adicional para cada desafío semanal que haga.

Boleto Lucky Sorteo Los participantes del Summer Reading Club también serán invitados a participar en nuestro gratuito Boleto Lucky Sorteo en agosto. Se puede hacer en línea si no podemos hacerlo en persona.
