The tour starts with an opportunity to learn about the local ecosystem. From the main lookout point, you will have unrivalled views of both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the waterfalls. Day 7: Foz do Iguaçu - Buenos Aires, ArgentinaToday cross the border into Argentina and travel up a scenic highway to the Argentin-ian Iguassu Park to visit the Argentinean Falls at Porto Canoas. Here you will have access to the very brink of the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat, largest of the Argentinean Falls which includes the San Martin Falls. This afternoon, travel to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires, the “Paris of South America,” birthplace of the tango, home to European-styled architecture and South American spirit. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for a 3-night stay and enjoy the evening at leisure.Meal: (B) Overnight: Buenos AiresDay 8: Buenos AiresToday enjoy a Buenos Aires City Tour. Your tour starts at Plaza de Mayo, the city’s foundational site and witness of the country’s political history. See the Pink House, the Presidential Palace, the Cabildo, town hall, and the Neoclassical-styled Metropolitan Cathedral, the final home of Argentina’s founding father, José de San Martín. Later visit San Telmo, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. From the 1970s, many artists and artisans came to San Telmo to set up their studios. Continue southwards to La Boca, one of the city’s most authentic and charming neighborhoods. It is a working class district, heavily shaped by Italian immigrants who came to the country during the last quarter of the 19th century. Here, we’ll make a special visit to the mythical Caminito Street, which sums up everything that gives La Boca its distinctive spirit: the strong passion for soccer, the heavy presence of art and color, and the tango-esque atmosphere.
