Later visit Corcovado Hill, situated in the largest urban forest in the world & where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is located. From Corcovado, see the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and the Botanical Garden. Sugar Loaf, with its unique location at the entrance of the Guanabara Bay, allows a close look at the city and its beaches from high above (1,200 ft.). The top is reached by a modern cable car ride from where you will enjoy limitless views over the city, its mountain range, the bay divided by the great bridge over to Niteroi and the ocean. Enjoy some time at leisure to enjoy this exciting city. One of the great natural wonders of the world, the Iguassu Falls are situated near the border of Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. The area is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The tour starts with an opportunity to learn about the local ecosystem. From there the tour follows with a walk through the most important tracks in the park where you can enjoy fantastic views of Iguassu Falls. From the main lookout point, you will have unrivalled views of both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the waterfalls. Later visit the Bird Park (Parque das Aves) to see three large aviaries and a butterfly house, in which guests can enter and be side by side with toucans, scarlet ibises, macaws, jays and thrushes. Day 7: Foz do Iguaçu - Buenos Aires, ArgentinaToday cross the border into Argentina and travel up a scenic highway to the Argentin-ian Iguassu Park to visit the Argentinean Falls at Porto Canoas. Here you will have access to the very brink of the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat, largest of the Argentinean Falls which includes the San Martin Falls. This afternoon, travel to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires, the “Paris of South America,” birthplace of the tango, home to European-styled architecture and South American spirit. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for a 3-night stay and enjoy the evening at leisure.Meal: (B) Overnight: Buenos AiresDay 8: Buenos AiresToday enjoy a Buenos Aires City Tour. Your tour starts at Plaza de Mayo, the city’s foundational site and witness of the country’s political history. See the Pink House, the Presidential Palace, the Cabildo, town hall, and the Neoclassical-styled Metropolitan Cathedral, the final home of Argentina’s founding father, José de San Martín. Later visit San Telmo, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. From the 1970s, many artists and artisans came to San Telmo to set up their studios. Continue southwards to La Boca, one of the city’s most authentic and charming neighborhoods. It is a working class district, heavily shaped by Italian immigrants who came to the country during the last quarter of the 19th century. Here, we’ll make a special visit to the mythical Caminito Street, which sums up everything that gives La Boca its distinctive spirit: the strong passion for soccer, the heavy presence of art and color, and the tango-esque atmosphere.
