Are You Experiencing a "Winter" in Your Life? In addition to the cold weather outside, many people experience "winters" in their personal lives. A recent loss through death, divorce, or relocation may leave them feeling lonely. A hospitalization, cancer diagnosis, or ongoing medical problems may leave them feeling isolated. The loss of a job, the fear of layoffs, or a financial setback can devastate one's self-esteem. Family and personal struggles may leave them with nowhere to turn for support. If you are going through a difficult time, our Stephen Ministers can bring God's warm love back into your life. They provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care. They will meet with you privately on a weekly basis to listen, support, and encourage you, to pray with and for you, and to walk with you for the duration of your crisis. To find out more about Stephen Ministry and how you or someone you know could be matched with a Stephen Minister, talk with Stephen Leader Lisa Lader (642-6840 or cell 439-2004), Dr. Christopher Crotwell or Parish Associate Rev. Bowling (648-9574). Our Stephen Ministers are ready to care for you!

The Presbyterian Women Presbytery Annual Gathering… is scheduled for March 22, 2014, from 9:30 AM - 200 PM and will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 677 David Street, Columbia. Registration deadline is March 8, and the cost is $15.00. Registration forms may be found online at PW Trinity.com. Worship Leader will be Rev. Alice Odell; Bible Study Leader - Rev. Lynn Grandsire; Workshop Leader - Cathy Moss. The Workshop is entitled “PW is More than A Circle.”

COMING EVENT! – The SAPC Women are planning the annual Chili Luncheon to celebrate and honor all of the men of the church for their dedication and hard work they do around here. This event is scheduled for March 9, 2014 and will follow the 11:00 service. Entertainment will be provided. So that we can have an estimate of the number to plan for, please give Betty Busch or Sonni Grasso a thumbs up when you pass us in the hallway, or email Betty at [email protected] or Sonni at [email protected]. This is for all of the MALES in the church, and that is regardless of age. (All Women who can are asked to help serve – you get to eat also).
