Fun holidays have never been so much well, fun! South Africa has it all; scenery, culture, mountains, beaches, animals and oodles of activities to suit all ages. This trip concentrates on the southern part of the country but we can add more destinations as required – the Kruger National Park, the Drakensberg, battlefields .. you choose. Day 1: Cape Town Arrive in Cape Town to spend 4 nights at An African Villa in South Africa’s Mother City. All the iconic and most famous attractions are here – Table Mountain, Robben Island, the V & A Waterfront, the Boulders Beach penguins, Cape Point and Kirstenbosch Gardens. Your time will be full and fun-packed. (B) Day 5: Franschhoek Move on to the winelands today to spend 3 nights at Gable Manor in South Africa’s food and wine capital. Not only famous for its food and wine, the scenery is stunning, there is history galore with a hundred years of motoring history at the fabulous Franschhoek Motor Museum. (B) Day 8: Hermanus Take the short drive to Hermanus for a spot of whale watching! Hermanus offers some of the best land-based – and boat based - Whale Watching in the world. There is a (much photographed) Whale Crier on duty – we think the only one in existence – who blows his kelp horn to alert visitors to the arrival of whales in the bay. Spend 2 nights at Beluga House. (B) Day 10 : Knysna Head to the heart of the Garden Route for a 4 night stay at Elephant Hide in Knysna, most famous for its oysters (yummy!) There is plenty to keep everyone occupied here, with Knysna Elephant Park, the Knysna Heads and Featherbed Tours, Noetze Beach and paddle cruises on the lagoon. (B) SOUTH AFRICA THE RAINBOW NATION

Day 14 : Safari You can’t come to South Africa and not take in a Big Five Safari. This is next on the list with 3 night a stay at Kwandwe Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape. You’ll go out with a ranger in an open vehicle at dawn and dusk searching for elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard – not to mention everything else from aardvark to zebra! (FB) Day 17 : Home Sadly, all good things must come to an end and today you will make your way to Port Elizabeth Airport for your short domestic flight to Cape Town to connect with your international flight home.
