KAZOO

Welcome to SOUNDIRON's Kazoo library.

This library was created with the help of a world class kazoo ensemble, featuring someof the finest hand-crafted wax-paper and plastic wind instruments that money can buy.We gathered together four of the finest kazoo virtuosos in the world to capture thispower-ensemble collection. We recorded this brilliant sample set in our own privatestudios.

This library includes features such as delicate automation control, 4-times round robinon all sustains and 4-times round robin on all release triggers, advanced programmingand playability and special custom instruments that feature our life-like hall acousticsimulation technology. All in all, we feel this is the most powerful professional-gradekazoo ensemble library available anywhere in the world.

INSTALLATION

We Use Winrar (version 3.80 or later) or other

compatible program to un-compress the

SOUNDIRON_Kazoo.rar file into its own folder in your

sample library directory. Make sure to preserve the

included folder structure. This is usually done by selecting

the extract to'... option in Winrar or UnrarX.

You should now be able to open and play the .nki files. Beaware that all of our .nki files are compatible with full retailversions of Kontakt 3.5 or higher only.

Note: The Free Kontakt Player and any bundled KontaktPlayers that come included with other software, hardwareor built into other sample libraries won't be able to loadthis library. You may be able to run the library for a 30minute demo period, but the full retail version of Kontakt

is required for full use.

However, since our wave directories are open, you cantranslate thepatches into whatever format you like. Thereare a few conversion utilities available that can make thetranslation process much easier.

Programming Notes:

Solo Kazoos:We recorded each and every semitone from G#2 D4, withthree independent levels of expression, from steady, to vibratoand all the way up to full tremolo. Each note is continuouslylooping, with an average loop length of over ten seconds. Allnotes feature release-triggered samples.

kazoo_solo_mw-exp.nkiThis primary solo patch allows you to cross-fade between the 3emotional intensity levels by using the mod-wheel (CC1), whilenote velocity controls the overall dynamic response.

kazoo_solo_mw-exp_wet.nkiThis version of the above patch includes one of our customreverb convolutions.

kazoo_solo_key-switch.nkiThis version of the patch allows you to switch between thearticulations, using key-switches at C0, D0 and E0.

kazoo_solo_legato_mw-exp.nkiThis version of the patch uses Kontakt scripting to intelligentlycontrol legato note transitions, allowing for expressive andnatural solo kazoo playing. The modwheel controls intensity X-fading.

manly_solo_voice_gramophone.nkiThis special version of the male vocal patch captures the old -timesound of a scratched-up gramophone record. Curl up by the fireand have a listen to those sweet, smooth vocal melodies from

years gone by.

Ensemble Kazoos:

kazoo_ensemble_legato_epic.nkiThis patch is the shear essence of power. Legato scripting forcommanding leads and driving melody lines, with tightprogramming to allow a strident, confident and virtuosic playingstyle. This instrument uses our own custom epic hall reverbconvolution to elevate the sound to the most brilliantly soaringheights. This state-of-the-art convolution technology uses liveimpulse response signatures, which were captured with expertprecision and care by our own in-house engineering team, in oneof the finest recording halls in all the world.

kazoo_ensemble_legato_soulful.nkiThis version is meant to be played slower and more loosely. Thistruly is a deeply emotional instrument. 4X round-robin andmodwheel controlled swelling and vibrato. It uses a basic legatoscript to allow monophonic solo playing.

kazoo_ensemble_mw_x-fade.nkiFor brilliant choral elements, this patch allows custom modwheelcross-fading of up to 4 expressive dynamic layers, from piano toforte. This instrument is presented semi-dry, captured naturally ina wood and masonry recording room.kazoo_ensemble_mw_x-fade_tight.nkiA tighter, more cohesive performance, for more articulate playingstyles.

kazoo_ensemble_mw_x-fade_epic.nkiThe grand-master of power, this instrument dominates whereothers fear to tread. Once again, our custom reverb impulsesprovide the most realistic concert hall depth and soar imaginable.

kazoo_ensemble_mw_x-fade_glorious.nkifreaking massive! This mega patch includes the entire kazooorchestra and backing choir, for total 100% awesomeness.

kazoo_ensemble_round-robin.nkiAdvanced programming techniques allow you to play withstartling realism, as each note triggers a cycle of four differentvariations. Robotic repetition is a thing of the past with thisstunning instrument bank. Use your keyboard's modwheelcontroller to sculpt your sound with subtle vibrato and dynamicswelling.

LICENSE GRANT

The license for this product is granted only to asingle user. All sounds and samples in this productare licensed, but not sold, to you by Soundiron,LLC. for commercial and non-commercial use inmusic, sound-effect, audio/video post-production,performance, broadcast or similar finished content-creation and production use.

Soundiron allows you to use any of the sounds andsamples in the library(s) you've purchased forcommercial recordings without paying anyadditional license fees or providing sourceattribution to Soundiron, LLC. This licenseexpressly forbids any unauthorized inclusion ofcontent contained within this library, or any anySoundiron library, into any other sampleinstrument or library of any kind, without ourexpress written consent.

This license also forbids any re-distribution methodof this product, or its sounds, through any means,including but not limited to, re-sampling, mixing,processing, isolating, or embedding into softwareor hardware of any kind, for the purpose of re-recording or reproduction as part of any free orcommercial library of musical and/or sound effectsamples and/or articulations, or any form ofmusical sample or sound effect sample playbacksystem or device. Licenses cannot be transferredto another entity, without written consent ofSoundiron, Inc.

RIGHTS

Soundiron retains full copyright privileges andcomplete ownership of all recorded sounds,instrument programming, documentation and

musical performances included in this product.

REFUNDS

Downloaded libraries can't be returned, so wecan't provide refunds. We may choose do so at ourown discretion,but please be aware that as soon asyou've downloaded it, you can't return it.

RESPONSIBILITY

Using this product and any supplied software is atthe licensees own risk. Soundiron holds noresponsibility for any direct or indirect loss arising

from any form of use of this product.

TERMS

This license agreement is effective from themoment the product is installed by any means. Thelicense will remain in full effect until termination.The license is terminated if you break any of theterms or conditions of this agreement, or request arefund for any reason. Upon termination you agreeto destroy all copies and contents of the product

at your own expense.

VIOLATION

We don't use any form of DRM software,registration, license keys or other anti-piracytechnology for most of Soundirons family ofproducts. We do this because we love you. That'salso one of the reasons our prices are so low, eventhough it takes a long time and a lot of work tomake these libraries. Remember, the more yousupport us, the more awesome libraries we canafford to make for you.
