Welcome to the Spring Issue of Soul Searchers Spiritual

Centre’s Newsletter

Butterflies are a symbol of resurrection, of hope, joy, and new beginnings. It is

a symbol of rebirth and a transformation of change: meaning out with the old

and in with the new.

Spring is a good time to replenish yourself and start your transformation! Start

anew: love more, laugh more, and take the time to learn how to develop yourself

into what you want to become. Spring is a time to start new projects and so it is

time for a good clean out, physically, emotionally & spiritually.

Many people these days are searching for a new direction, their purpose in life,

their spiritual path. So let us all brush off the cobwebs, open up the windows,

let the sun and warmth in, push out those winter blues, and embrace the season.

This is a good time to rededicate yourselves to the journey of discovery and Soul

Searchers Spiritual Centre can assist you with your journey as we have another

exciting month of workshops and activities to suit all your spiritual interests

and budgets.

What is happening at the Centre!

Weekly Meditation Classes – Every Monday Night Third Eye Opening Meditation classes will be conducted every Monday night.

These classes connect you to your guides and your psychic senses. Time: 7:30 –

8:30pm. Cost: $10. Where: Soul Searchers Spiritual Centre -17/3 Richmond Ave,

Drumming Circle – 1st Sunday of each Month The drum is one of the most ancient instruments and has been used by shamans,

healers and medicine people in virtually every culture for thousands of years. This

circle will be conducted by Janine Donnellan and is an introduction to drumming

which will be conducted on a monthly basis. Time: 2:.00pm – 4:00pm. Cost: $15.

Nephthys Circle of Women’s Mysteries –3rd Saturday each

Month - Nephthys Circle of Women’s Mysteries is a monthly gathering for

women of all ages who would like to share wisdom and magic and journey to the

otherworlds. The circle is supportive of Wise Women who are seekers of their own

truth and who follow diverse spiritual paths. Janine Donnellan will be the facilitator

of this circle. Janine is founder of Spheres Of Light an eclectic pagan organisation

which has been running for over 12 years. When: every third Saturday of the Month.

Palmistry Classes with Kylie Allerton – 8th October then

weekly to 12th November. This course is designed for those

who want to learn how to read your palm.- Six week introductory

class: Palmistry — your palms are a blueprint or map of your life, within the lines,

shape, texture and colour of the hand contain the story of your life’s journey,

personality and health.. Where: Soul Searchers Spiritual Centre, When: Wednesday

nights Time: 7.30pm – 9.30pm, Cost: $200

Meditations in the Royal National Park – 3rd Sunday each

Month - Come on a Shamanic journey through meditation. Let nature speak to

you and become part of your inner landscape in the same way that the ancient ones

paid attention to the signs and symbols of the cosmos. The mystical path of direct

knowing is the world’s oldest form of communion with the Source and is based on

a deep, living relation to Nature. Janine Donnellan is the facilitator of the meditation

sessions. Where: Royal National Park, Audley (southern Sydney)When: Every 3rd

The entry fee to the Royal National Park is $11 per motor vehicle.

The Circle of The Goddess Morrigan – 17th October- This is a circle

honouring the Goddess Morrigan which will be hosted by Wayne Bromley, a long

standing member of Spheres Of Light. The Circle will Invoke the Morrigan—the Celtic

embodiment of the victory, strength, and power of the Divine Feminine. At this circle

we will be working through the guided path workings, rituals, and spells included in

the book “Celtic Lore and Spellcraft of the Dark Goddess – Invoking the Morrigan” by

Stephanie Woodfield. Where: Soul Searchers Spiritual Centre, When: monthly on the

Friday between full moon and dark moon, Time: 8pm Cost: $15 Please bring a small

Pangenta’s Cauldron –16th October Pangenta’s cauldron is a magical group conducted by Kylie Allerton that will meet

every third Thursday of the month for a night of workshop and ritual. Each month

explore a different topic, beginners to advanced practitioners, all welcome. Join us

around the cauldron and discover the witch within. Where: Soul Searchers Spiritual

Mediumship & Psychic Development Circle – Commencing

7th October - We all have natural psychic abilities. These classes present a

dynamic, ‘hands-on’ opportunity to explore your psychic & mediumship abilities

to strengthen your natural intuition in a fun environment. During each term there

will be two guest psychics to provide you with a variety of different experiences.

Classes are conducted on a fortnightly basis (5 nights a term). Where: Soul

Searchers Spiritual Centre. Tuesday nights, Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Cost: $180

About Trish

Trish is an experienced healer and medium. I work from love and gratitude to bring

balance of your mind, body and soul. There is nothing more precious than sharing

with others.

I have been involved in spiritual work for many years, attending workshops and

courses and have wonderful mentors from whom I am still learning. I continue to

learn and study so that I continue to grow within myself, enabling me to help

others on their journey. My journey has been one of many wonderful experiences

and I have landed in a most beautiful place within. Every experience with another

opens your heart with the benefits being twofold.

Palmistry Classes with Kylie Allerton

Six week introductory class: Palmistry — your palms are a blueprint or map of your

life, within the lines, shape, texture and colour of the hand contain the story of

your life’s journey, personality and health. Palmistry is thousands of years old and

may have originated in India or China; it is mentioned in the Hindu scriptures and

the Old Testament. It was practiced in the ancient countries of the middle east

and by the classical Greeks and Romans, the Christian church condemned the

practice but this had little effect, during the 16th and 17th centuries in western

Europe, hermetic philosophers, doctors, theologians, astrologers and alchemists

added the art of palmistry to their skills, the Gypsies spread the fascination with

fortune telling.

Palmistry is still used today by many doctors and we all know the significance of

the fingerprint used in police work. Your palm is unique to you and no two palms

are the same. Lines on your palm including major lines change over the months

and years. Minor lines appear and disappear, become stronger or fade all

together, breaks occur or are mended, and your palm changes as your life changes.

The Witches Brew is a series of workshops where we will explore the world of

magick. We will have discussions and practical exercises on timing of spells,

moon signs, herbal remedies, guides and totems and many other interesting

topics. This discussion group will be facilitated by Janine Donnellan.

This workshop's topic is on Herbs and Potions. Herbs were used for healing and

Magick long before they were used as seasonings. The Wise Ones all knew the

Magickal use of herbs. They used herbs in potions, incenses and amulets to

protect, attract prosperity, and to heal illnesses.

During Monday night meditation classes we will be doing the Third Eye

Meditation, associated with the brow chakra and pineal gland which is

responsible for all sixth sense abilities. The more you open your third eye and

become more aware of what you were previously unaware of, the more

conscious you are of all the answers to every question that you have.

The Third Eye Opening Meditations will be conducted over the next six weeks

Monday night Meditation classes from 15 September -.20 October.
