DAY ONE - ARRIVALAfternoon Check in at the Welcome Centre and be shown your

accommodation, so you can unpack and unwind. Have a walk around the site and wander down to the beach for a breath of fresh air and familiarise yourself to your new surroundings.

Evening Have a nice meal at Makis restaurant, check out the entertainment and what’s on during your stay. View the weather forecast so you can plan your exciting holiday ahead.

DAY THREEMorning If you want a bit of variety Sewerby Hall and Gardens is a great place to visit; with over

50 acres of 19th century parkland, the zoo, the Clock Tower Café, and the house itself, restored to its Edwardian grandeur. With special events and exhibitions all year round, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year in Spring 2020 and a programme of events that run throughout the whole year, you’re sure to find something for everyone.

Lunch Visit the Clock Tower Café or if you want a change of scenery, Bridlington Spa or East Riding Leisure Bridlington have excellent cafés with spectacular views over the bay.

Afternoon Take a trip further afield to one of the outlying towns or cities, the beautiful city of York, The Deep in Hull, Flamingo Land near Malton or the North Yorkshire Moors and its vintage steam railway.

A stay at South Cliff Holiday Park means time spent near stunning beaches, which makes Bridlington justifiably famous. Miles of golden sands stretch before you, on both the North and South side of the resort. Here are some ideas for activities you can do during your stay...

DAY TWOMorning Take a trip on the iconic Seafront Land Train along the promenade into Bridlington, hire a beach chalet

or deck chair, enjoy the traditional attractions like rides, paddling pools and the harbour. Why not take a boat trip on the Yorkshire Belle which offers a range of cruises along the coast?

Lunch Sample the superb local fish and chips and of course, enjoy a traditional ice cream.

Afternoon Carry on north towards RSPB Bempton Cliffs with puffins in the spring and early summer, and huge numbers of magnificent gannets and many other seabirds all year round. You may be lucky enough to spot whales or dolphins in the sea as well. If you have the energy, climb the 119 steps to the top of Flamborough Lighthouse to take in the amazing cliff-top views.

Evening Have a nice meal at one of Bridlington’s many restaurants to celebrate the start of a great holiday.6 7

DAY TWO Morning Take a trip to the north side of Bridlington to set off on a

beautiful cliff top walk to Flamborough Head. This beautiful cliff top walk is around six miles with tea and coffee shops along the way.

Afternoon After the walk, head to the top of Flamborough Lighthouse to get the best view of the Flamborough Headland.

In the late afternoon why not visit the Old Town of Bridlington where you will find the beautiful Bridlington Priory and perfect little coffee shops for afternoon tea.

Evening Go for a night out at the on site bar and restaurant Makis, which serves food daily and provides a range of entertainment.

DAY THREEMorning All aboard! Head off on a mini cruise on the Yorkshire Belle from

Bridlington harbour, offering a range of cruises along the coast, many including the amazing views of the birds at Bempton Cliffs from the sea.

Afternoon If you fancy a tipple, go whisky tasting at Spirit of Yorkshire in Hunmanby. Sample Filey Bay single malt whisky, and see how it’s made in the distillery. Or just enjoy a coffee in the Pot Still Coffee Shop.

Evening Book to see a show at Bridlington Spa, the largest gig venue in the region, with amazing art deco character in the Royal Hall and the theatre dating back to the Edwardian era.

FOR SOMETHING MORE THRILLING...Thrillseekers can go skydiving at Skydive GB, just north of Bridlington. The coastal location gives unrivalled views from the

aircraft and throughout the experience, towards Whitby, the Humber Bridge, Flamborough Head, and beyond. Whether a one-off, or something to do as a new hobby, this could be the day out you are looking for!

DAY ONE - ARRIVALLunch En-route stop off at the historic market town of Beverley

for a spot of lunch in the many pubs and restaurants. Explore the cobbled streets and Gothic Beverley Minster.

Afternoon Check in - Have a stroll along the South Cliff beach taking in the glorious sea views. Once back at the park pop into Makis and have a relaxing glass of wine before heading out for your evening entertainment.

Evening Visit Rags restaurant with its harbour views and beautiful seafood menu.

INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY:

Please note that, unless stated otherwise, the holiday information and conditions of booking detailed here apply to any bookings with South Cliff Holiday Park, Pioneer Road, Wilsthorpe, Bridlington YO15 3QN. Please call if you are unsure of anything within these Terms and Conditions. All bookings are subject to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and to availability.

HOW TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING / MAKING CHANGES:

To confirm a booking simply make a non-refundable deposit of £50 for Holiday Home, Lodge and Shepherd Hut accommodation and £10 non-refundable deposit for Touring / Camping Pitches and Camping Cabins with the remaining balance payable 28 days before the holiday commencement date. Please note that payments not received by the due date will result in cancellation.

The total charge for the goods and services comprising your holiday will be clearly shown in your booking confirmation invoice. Please check that your holiday booking details in this confirmation invoice are correct and as advised at the time of booking.

Only the lead member named on the booking may make any alterations / amendments to the booking.

Changes within 48 hours of receiving confirmation invoice can be made without incurring any amendment fee charges from us. A charge of £10 per alteration to the holiday will be payable after this period has elapsed.

Please note that if you have booked a promotional holiday no changes can be made to your date and no refunds are given.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

If you have any special requirements regarding your holiday accommodation or pitch, please advise us when making your booking. We will endeavour to meet your requests; however this cannot be guaranteed and is not a condition of booking.

CANCELLATION OF YOUR HOLIDAY:

We regret that we cannot give refunds for accident / breakdown on your journey to commence your holiday or for holidays cut short after arrival through accident / illness or any other reason. It is strongly recommended you obtain cancellation insurance to protect your deposit and the balance of payment in the event of cancellation or these eventualities.

If you have to cancel for reasons of death, illness, redundancy or injury to you or any member of your party, of death, illness or serious injury of a close relative after you have booked and before the start of your holiday, we will refund / credit your money paid as follows:

a) Provided we receive written notice of a cancellation before your expected arrival date, we will refund all monies paid less deposit (£10 Touring / Camping Pitches / Camping Cabins, £50 Holiday Home Hire / Lodges / Shepherd Huts).

In all cases cancellation must be accompanied by Doctor’s Sick Note or other evidence as detailed below:

Sickness – Doctor’s Sick Note, Redundancy - Employer’s notification, Hospitalisation - Doctor’s certificate showing hospital admission dates.

Jury Service – Court notification, Bereavement - Death Certificate.

Cancellation policy excludes all promotional bookings where no refund will be given.

Management’s decision is final.

IF WE MAKE ANY MAJOR ALTERATIONS TO YOUR BOOKING:

We try very hard to provide all facilities as advertised in our brochure and on our website. It may however be necessary to make some alterations in advance of your holiday. If such a change is necessary, we will endeavour to advise you as soon as possible, and give you the options in the section entitled ‘If we cancel your booking’.

IF WE CANCEL YOUR BOOKING:

We always endeavour not to change the date or cancel your booking, but in exceptional circumstances this may be necessary. We will inform you of the change of date or cancellation as soon as possible and give you the following options.

a) accept the alternative arrangements as notified to you

b) choose another available break from us at the advertised price

c) cancel your holiday with a full refund of any money you have paid

We do not pay compensation in circumstances where we have to cancel your booking including those arising from *force majeure. *Force majeure means circumstances beyond our control including (but not limited to) industrial disputes, natural disasters, fire, technical problems, bad weather and acts of government.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES:

Holiday Home and Lodge Accommodation:

Your accommodation is available on your holiday start date from 2pm for Premier and Lodge accommodation and 3pm for Standard and Deluxe.

You are welcome to use the park facilities until your accommodation is ready. You will need to vacate your accommodation by 9.30am on the day of your departure.

Touring and Camping Pitches:

Pitches are available from 12 noon onwards on the day of your arrival. We expect your pitch to be cleared by 11am on the day of your departure. We are also happy to welcome you at the park before check in and you can make full use of the facilities. It may be possible to extend your stay up until 5pm on your day of departure depending on availability. Please check with reception on your departure day before 11am if you wish to stay longer. Extended stays are subject to a small charge payable at the time of request.

Camping Pods and Shepherd Huts:

Camping Pods and Shepherd Huts will be available from 12 noon onwards on the day of your arrival. Departure will be at 9.30am on the day of your departure.

Late arrivals:

If you expect to arrive after 5pm on the arrival day, please let the Reception Team know, this will allow us to make arrangements for your arrival up to 10pm. Unless notified in advance you must claim your self-catering accommodation / pitch by 10am on the day after commencement of your holiday, or we will treat your booking as cancelled.

VEHICLES AND PARKING:

Holidaymakers are not permitted to bring working vehicles onto the park. This includes pick-up trucks, vans and open back trucks and all sign written / commercial vehicles. Only one car per pitch is permitted through the barriers. All other vehicles must remain in one of the site car parks.

DOGS:

A maximum of 2 dogs per pitch. Owners are responsible for the behaviour of their dogs. We do not permit any dog listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 onto the site. All dogs must be kept on a short lead whilst on park. Dogs should be exercised off the park or designated dog walking areas. Owners must ensure that their dogs do not foul the site and are responsible for cleaning up after them. If it is deemed that the dog is causing a nuisance or disturbance to others, their owner will be asked to remove the dog from the site. With the exception of assistance dogs, dogs are not permitted in the toilet blocks, holiday homes, lodges, shepherd huts or camping cabins. Dogs are not to be left unattended at any time. Dogs on ground stake tethers must not be left unattended at any time.

USE OF YOUR HOLIDAY HOME, LODGE, TOURING AND CAMPING PITCHES, CAMPING PODS AND SHEPHERD HUTS:

Only those people listed on the booking can occupy your accommodation and use the facilities of the park. If this legal requirement is not met, your booking will be terminated and you will be asked to leave, with no refund made. If you have any friends who wish to visit you while you are staying with us, please see the Reception Team. It is illegal to smoke inside enclosed public buildings in England, Scotland and Wales. Outside smoking areas will be provided. We ask holidaymakers to refrain from smoking in the accommodation. We cannot guarantee smoke free accommodation or any holiday home/lodge to be free from allergens. Please note, assistance dogs may have been in hire holiday homes / lodges.

UNREASONABLE BEHAVIOUR:

For the convenience of our guests, we reserve the right to terminate the party’s holiday without compensation or refund, where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons in the holiday party might impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests, our team members or staff. This may include but is not limited to verbal or physical abuse, and will be up to the management’s discretion.
