Ispat Nigam Ltd or M/s. Indian Iron & Steel Co. Ltd from their own plants rolled

from virgin material to be procurred directly or from their authorised dealers and

not from rerollers or conversion Agents.

iii) The contractor shall supply copy of Documentary evidence of purchase of

steel, Test Certificate from these firms and also testing from third party from

approved laboratory to be arranged at no extra cost.

4 Labour charges only for fabricating structural steel work including plates at all Tonne 8,900.00

levels including transporting to site of work from Dept. Stores, cutting to required

size, fabricating including welding as required, erecting in position, cost of

electrodes, gas, necessary scaffolding, painting with a coat of approved steel

primer etc. complete.

Pile foundation:

Note:

1. Payment will be made on the basis of weight of Aluminium

members / sections fabricated and actually installed in

position without extra allowance for wastage. No extra

payment will be made for all non-aluminium consumable

items like screws, gasket, weather strips,PVC / Neprene

Lining and butt hinges,tower bolts etc.

2.Glazing particle boards, aluminium grills, mesh etc will be

measured and paid separately under relevant item

3.All Fittings shall be of matching color anodized aluminium

sections

4. The aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free,

straight,mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required

cleat angles at no extra cost.

confirming to IS 3384,1965 on prepared surfaces. Side and

end laps between adjacent rolls shall be kept 10 cms and 15

cms respectively & torch bonded by hot round nosed trowel

to ensure water tightness. Providing and applying bitumen

@ 1.2 Kg/sq.m on the top of the membrane and applying

reflective coating of red-oxide on the top of the finished

surface all as per Manufacturer's specification and as

directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Note:

The water proofing treatment shall be guaranteed for absolute

water tightness for a period of 10 years

The measurement for payment shall be the entire area of

slab / walls covered by the treatment in sq.m And no extra

shall be paid for Laps.

CHAPTER NO.XIV-FENCING WORKS

18 Supplying and fixing in position CONCERTINA Barbed tape

coil of following dia made from M.S.Galvanized Ribbon Tape

of 0.5 mm thickness 19 mm width, stretching the coil to 9 m

approximately, fixing the coil with clips between "Y" arm and

M.S. Angle posts 2.44 m high from Ground level including

supplying and fixing M.S. Galvanized Clips etc. complete as

per manufacturer's specifications and including Painting by

diping method the concertina Tape coil with 2 coats

synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and make over a

coat of approved primer at fabrication shop, before bringing

the material to site and fixing in position etc. complete as

directed by Engineer-in-Charge
