Unless you have permission from your advisor, plan on having no more than one study hall per day.
Don’t make your schedule fit your friends’ choices. This is about you.
Make your schedule reflect your career or educational needs.
You need permission to take some classes. It’s likely you have already received an invitation from the instructor for this.

Things to remember about Things to remember about dual creditdual credit
new for next year…new for next year…GPA bump for honors & dual GPA bump for honors & dual credit credit
All Honors classes: 0.33 added to GPA
e.g. A “B+” would normally be given a 3.33 and averaged into your accumulated score…now it would be added in as a 3.67 (the same as if it had been an A-)
Dual credit courses: 0.67 bump
(AP & PSEO)
e.g.: the B+ 3.33 is now 4.0 (as if it were an A)
(scores of “C” or higher)
It’s good to be well-rounded, so consider fine arts, business and PE offerings
Remember that your course choices will be made with guidance from your advisor; some courses need instructor permission or prerequisites. Watch for those.
