What is a Sonolator?
Sonic Corp’s homogenizer device, known as the Sonolator, is used in custom, high-pressure systems. These homogenizer systems use PD pumps to force process fluid through the Sonolator Orifice (seen above), creating a restriction that induces back pressure, cavitation and extreme fluid velocity.
Sonic designs and manufactures complete Homogenizer systems around the Sonolator.
Several PD pumps used to meter fluids and emulsify instantly at the Sonolator Orifice homogenizing chamber.
Hot oil/wax phases metered directly with ambient water phase to create finished emulsion that requires no cooling.
Our Sonolator homogenizer systems operate at pressures to 5,000 psi and flow rates to 100 GPM.
