Getting it thereWe have a longstanding reputation and experience with heavy haul shipments to, from and within Alaska. We use that experience to offer our global customers safe, dependable and cost-effective services. Our diverse inventory of specialized equipment and dedicated staff give us an advantage over other transportation companies. With the combination of in-house marine options and specially designed equipment, including a Scheuerle trailer to carry 100-ton payloads, we can handle the heaviest project shipments. We’re used to operating in harsh climates and remote locations to serve our oilfi eld, construction, mining and manufacturing customers. By land or sea, we’ll do the heavy lifting for you.

ExperienceOur skilled drivers and operators have years of experience delivering heavy equipment and cargo. We know the ins and outs of getting the biggest loads across bridges, narrow roadways or sensitive areas. We’ll obtain the necessary permits and check the route for overhead obstacles, weight limits and other issues ahead of time so you don’t have to worry. With a variety of specialized equipment to choose from, we’ve got what you need to move freight of any dimension. Our barges even have a removable fence system on deck to accommodate bulk cargo. Weekly barge service allows Lynden to maintain control of heavy haul or project shipments beyond Seattle and to provide a customized set of logistics to customers, whether it is a single shipment or a large project. Options for delivery in Valdez, Whittier, or direct to Anchorage are available based on customer need, time of year, and fi nal destination.

For remote locations, Lynden’s Hercules Aircraft can also move materials and supplies for construction, oil and mining projects. We provide simplifi ed loading operations for quick turnarounds, direct loading from ground or truck, drive-on/drive-off vehicle

loading, and we make the most of cargo space by stacking full-height rectangular loads.

Decades of experience with oilfi eld projects, including the transport of truck-sized modules from fabrication facilities in Alaska to the North Slope at Prudhoe Bay. We routinely carry heavy machinery, bridge girders, vehicles, cranes, construction materials and more.
