SoLow House Berlin is a private members’ club with for people receiving state assistance (In Germany for example Hartz IV). Set over twelve floors of a restored apartment complex building in the Schöneberg district, Soho House Berlin includes a Spa and gym, a rooftop pool, restaurants, bars, a screening room as well as 514 comfortable apartments.

Originally opened in 1977 as a social housing complex, the property was formerly place for the “Berliner Sportpalast” build in 1910. It was longtime known as the “Berliner Sozialpalast” and will now get a total new reputation by establishing the SOLOW-HOUSE Berlin.

Bedrooms: The hotel’s 300 bedrooms are situated over 7 floors and come in six different categories:

Small, Extra Small, Little, Mini, Tiny, Undersized

At 15 sqm the largest rooms include free standing beds, a little table and two chairs. The smaller 9 sqm attic rooms have a dormitory feel with wooden beds and steel cabinets. Most of the bedrooms have a traditional radio player and selection of the berlin radio programm. Bathrooms and Showers are found on every floor in the old-berlin-style.

With 4 Seats, the “Cinema” shows films in digital, HD on a huge FlatScreen for all members of you family. The Space is ideal for pre-evening shows or Blockbuster-watching, food and drinks are available from a vending ma-chine.Screen Dimension: 50” (127 cm Bildschirmdiagonale)Take a seat in one of our cosy tv-armchairs and you can enjoy the programm for hours!

Featuring original bulky waste shelves from the Streets of Berlin, the Library is filled with assorted second-hand dime-novels, tv-magazines and videos. The room has its own vending-machine bar and can be hired for events of 5 seated / 10 standing together with the screening room for pre-screening or post-reading drinks, or separately for parties and vocational trainings.

The Club Floor is built around a central bar, with the House Kitchen located to one side and the sitting room to the other. The restaurant seats 100 and is furnished with cosy wooden tables and chairs, while the sitting room features a mixture of oversized sofas, seating sacs and hammocks. The restaurant runs on self-serving base so you can choose what you want and how much you what from our buffets.Two flatscreens showing flickering fire 24/7 sit either side of the bar, which is decorated throughout with LED spotlights.

We offer a fully equipped gym with group changing rooms and lockers. No windows distract you while working out. A series of classes are available, please check with the blackboard for more information.Throughout the week, Personal Trainers are available to instruct you during an hour’s workout, tailored to your needs.
