It is for a reason that theIndian bowling attack isconsidered one of the best inthe world and with JaspritBumrah having a one-off badday, Shami rose to the

challenge and bowled a brilliantlast over as New Zealand failedto score the 9 runs requireddespite Ross Taylor starting theover with a six. While Shamidismissed Williamson off thethird ball of the over, he cleanedup Taylor (17) off the last ballwith the Kiwis needing one runto win. Earlier, Williamsonsingle-handedly took the gameaway from the Indians in the17th of the innings – Bumrah’sthird. The Kiwi skipper picked14 from the over to bring therequired rate below the 10-run

mark.Going into the 17th, NewZealand needed 43 off 24 balls. But at the end of the over, theKiwis needed 29 from the lastthree overs. With Ross Taylorgiving Williamson company, itwas al l about not doinganything reckless for the hosts. For the Indians, their failure tograb the opportunity with thebat was followed by some poorshow on the field as evensomeone like Ravindra Jadejadropped a catch, not to mentionquite a few misfields.
