The solar array The system includes a pole-mounted frame, four photovoltaic panels, disconnect box, control unit, and all necessary wiring components. The entire structure mounts on a 4 inch SCH40/80 galvanized steel pipe and concrete footing which is not included (installer supplied).

Controller The brains of the system is our Fhoton Drive™, a variable speed motor drive designed to run our 3/4 HP DA-20 or Boilermaker specially equipped with a Franklin Electric submersible induction motor. This allows the solar PV array to gradually bring the water flow up to capacity and operate with variable sunny or cloudy conditions.

The Scott Aerator Awesome WarrantyAll Scott Aerator motors are unconditionally warranted for five years against motor defects in materials or workmanship, under normal operating conditions. All other product components are warranted for one year from date of purchase. Scott Aerator will repair or replace failed parts under warranty when the defective unit is returned to the factory, shipping prepaid, and factory inspection establishes that the part was defective. The unit must be returned to the factory prior to shipment of replacement parts. All parts replaced under this warranty will be returned with shipping prepaid. Scott Aerator will not be liable for consequential damage nor for any costs associated with removal or attempts to repair components in the field.

The cone-shaped fountain displays up to 5 feet tall by 20 feet in width at full sun. During low sun, the display will drop but still provide a fair amount of aeration.

3/4 HP Boilermaker The low profile design of the Boilermaker creates a high volume white boil effect of highly aerated water while producing a minimal display pattern. If pond health is the primary consideration, the highest oxygen transfer rates and the large volume of water circulation makes the Boilermaker the preferred selection. The Boilermaker works well as a pond de-icer in the winter months too.

Battery free – hassle free There are no costly batteries to purchase or maintain as in typical solar systems. Designed for daytime aeration, the unit powers up with the sun, operating at variable speeds and shuts down during evening hours.

Minimal maintenance This system is engineered to operate reliably in remote locations. All that is required is to periodically clean the solar panels and to keep vegetation cleared for adequate sunlight.
